1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Le Seigneur parla donc à Moïse, et lui dit:
2 "Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me an offering; from every man whose heart makes him willing you shall receive the offering for me.	2 Ordonnez aux enfants d'Israël de M'apporter des prémices, et vous les recevrez de tous ceux qui Me les présenteront avec une pleine volonté.
3 And this is the offering which you shall receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze,	3 Voici ce que vous devez recevoir d'eux: de l'or, de l'argent et de l'airain;
4 blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen, goats' hair,	4 De l'hyacinthe, de la pourpre, de l'écarlate teinte deux fois, du fin lin, des poiles de chèvres,
5 tanned rams' skins, goatskins, acacia wood,	5 Des peaux de mouton teintes en rouge, et d'autres, teintes en violet, et des bois de sétim,
6 oil for the lamps, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,	6 De l'huile pour entretenir les lampes, des aromates pour l'huile d'onction et des parfums d'excellente odeur;
7 onyx stones, and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.	7 Des pierres d'onyx et des pierres précieuses pour orner l'éphod et le rational.
8 And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.	8 Et ils Me dresseront un sanctuaire, afin que J'habite au milieu d'eux;
9 According to all that I show you concerning the pattern of the tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it.	9 Selon la forme très exacte du tabernacle que Je vous montrerai et de tous les vases qui y serviront au culte sacré. Voici la manière dont vous ferez ce sanctuaire.
10 "They shall make an ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half shall be its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.	10 Vous ferez une arche de bois de sétim, qui ait deux coudées et demie de long, une coudée et demie de large et une coudée et demie de haut.
11 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, within and without shall you overlay it, and you shall make upon it a molding of gold round about.	11 Vous la couvrirez d'un or très pur en dedans et en dehors; vous y ferez au-dessus une couronne d'or tout autour.
12 And you shall cast four rings of gold for it and put them on its four feet, two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.	12 Vous mettrez quatre anneaux d'or aux quatre coins de l'arche, deux d'un côté et deux de l'autre.
13 You shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.	13 Vous ferez aussi des bâtons de bois de sétim, que vous couvrirez d'or,
14 And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark by them.	14 Et vous les ferez entrer dans les anneaux qui sont aux côtés de l'arche, afin qu'ils servent à la porter.
15 The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.	15 Les bâtons demeureront toujours dans les anneaux, et on ne les en tirera jamais.
16 And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.	16 Vous mettrez dans l'arche les tables de la loi, que Je vous donnerai.
17 Then you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.	17 Vous ferez aussi le propitiatoire d'un or très pur. Il aura deux coudées et demie de long et une coudée et demie de large.
18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat.	18 Vous mettrez aux deux extrémités de l'oracle deux chérubins d'or battu;
19 Make one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on its two ends.	19 Un chérubin d'un côté et l'autre de l'autre côté.
20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.	20 Ils tiendront leurs ailes étendues des deux côtés du propitiatoire, et ils couvriront l'oracle, et ils se regarderont l'un l'autre, ayant le visage tourné vers le propitiatoire qui couvrira l'arche,
21 And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you.	21 Où vous mettrez les tables de la loi que Je vous donnerai.
22 There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you of all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.	22 C'est de là que Je vous donnerai Mes ordres. Je vous parlerai de dessus le propitiatoire, du milieu des deux chérubins qui seront au-dessus de l'arche du témoignage, pour vous faire savoir tout ce que Je voudrai commander aux enfants d'Israël.
23 "And you shall make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.	23 Vous ferez aussi une table de bois de sétim, qui aura deux coudées de long, une coudée de large et une coudée et demie de haut.
24 You shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a molding of gold around it.	24 Vous la couvrirez d'un or très pur et vous y ferez tout autour une bordure d'or.
25 And you shall make around it a frame a handbreadth wide, and a molding of gold around the frame.	25 Vous appliquerez sur la bordure une couronne de sculpture à jour, haute de quatre doigts, et vous mettrez encore au-dessus une autre couronne d'or.
26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and fasten the rings to the four corners at its four legs.	26 Vous ferez aussi quatre anneaux d'or, que vous mettrez aux quatre coins de la table, un à chaque pied.
27 Close to the frame the rings shall lie, as holders for the poles to carry the table.	27 Les anneaux d'or seront au-dessous de la couronne pour y passer les bâtons, afin qu'on s'en serve à porter la table.
28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, and the table shall be carried with these.	28 Vous ferez aussi de bois de sétim ces bâtons sur lesquels la table sera portée, et vous les couvrirez d'or.
29 And you shall make its plates and dishes for incense, and its flagons and bowls with which to pour libations; of pure gold you shall make them.	29 Vous ferez aussi d'un or très pur des plats, des coupes, des encensoirs et des tasses dans lesquelles vous mettrez les liqueurs que l'on doit M'offrir.
30 And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before me always.	30 Et vous mettrez sur cette table les pains qui seront toujours exposés devant Moi.
31 "And you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand shall be made of hammered work; its cups, its capitals, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it;	31 Vous ferez aussi un chandelier de l'or le plus pur, battu au marteau, avec sa tige, ses branches, ses coupes, ses pommes et ses lis qui en sortiront.
32 and there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it;	32 Six branches sortiront des côtés de sa tige, trois d'un côté et trois de l'autre.
33 three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on the other branch--so for the six branches going out of the lampstand;	33 Il y aura trois coupes en forme de noix, avec une pomme et un lis à une des branches; il y aura de même trois coupes en forme de noix, avec une pomme et un lis à une autre branche; et il en sera ainsi à toutes les six branches qui sortiront de la tige;
34 and on the lampstand itself four cups made like almonds, with their capitals and flowers,	34 Mais la tige du chandelier aura quatre coupes en forme de noix, accompagnée chacune de sa pomme et de son lis.
35 and a capital of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand.	35 Il y aura trois pommes en trois endroits de la tige, et de chaque pomme sortiront deux branches, qui feront en tout six branches naissantes d'une même tige.
36 Their capitals and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it one piece of hammered work of pure gold.	36 Ces pommes et ces branches sortiront donc du chandelier, étant toutes d'un or très pur battu au marteau.
37 And you shall make the seven lamps for it; and the lamps shall be set up so as to give light upon the space in front of it.	37 Vous ferez aussi sept lampes que vous mettrez au-dessus du chandelier, afin qu'elles éclairent ce qui est vis-à-vis.
38 Its snuffers and their trays shall be of pure gold.	38 Vous ferez encore des mouchettes et les vases destinés pour y éteindre ce qui aura été mouché des lampes, le tout d'un or très pur.
39 Of a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these utensils.	39 Le chandelier, avec tout ce qui sert à son usage, pèsera un talent d'un or très pur.
40 And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.	40 Regardez et faites tout selon le modèle qui vous a été montré sur la montagne.
