Galatians 6

1 And, brothers, if a man has been overtaken by any offense, you who are spiritual should instruct someone like this with a spirit of leniency, considering that you yourselves might also be tempted.	1 Brüder, selbst wenn einer bei einem Fehltritt betroffen wird, sollt ihr als Geisterfüllte einen solchen im Geist der Milde zurechtweisen; denke dabei an dich selbst, damit nicht auch du versucht werdest.
2 Carry one another’s burdens, and so shall you fulfill the law of Christ.	2 Einer trage des andern Last, und ihr werdet so das Gesetz Christi erfüllen.
3 For if anyone considers himself to be something, though he may be nothing, he deceives himself.	3 Denn wenn einer glaubt, etwas zu sein, da er doch nichts ist, so betrügt er sich selbst.
4 So let each one prove his own work. And in this way, he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another.	4 Sein eigenes Tun prüfe ein jeder, und dann mag er Ruhm für sich selber haben und nicht bei dem andern.
5 For each one shall carry his own burden.	5 Denn ein jeder hat seine eigene Bürde zu tragen.
6 And let him who is being taught the Word discuss it with him who is teaching it to him, in every good way.	6 Wer sich unterweisen läßt im Worte, gebe dem, der ihn unterweist, Anteil an allen Gütern.
7 Do not choose to wander astray. God is not to be ridiculed.	7 Täuscht euch nicht, Gott läßt seiner nicht spotten; denn was einer sät, das wird er auch ernten:
8 For whatever a man will have sown, that also shall he reap. For whoever sows in his flesh, from the flesh he shall also reap corruption. But whoever sows in the Spirit, from the Spirit he shall reap eternal life.	8 wer auf sein Fleisch sät, wird vom Fleische Verderben ernten; wer auf den Geist sät, wird vom Geiste ewiges Leben ernten.
9 And so, let us not be deficient in doing good. For in due time, we shall reap without fail.	9 Laßt uns nicht müde werden, Gutes zu tun, denn zur rechten Zeit werden wir ernten, wenn wir nicht erschlaffen.
10 Therefore, while we have time, we should do good works toward everyone, and most of all toward those who are of the household of the faith.	10 Solange wir also Zeit haben, wollen wir Gutes tun an allen, vornehmlich an denen, die uns nahestehen im Glauben.
11 Consider what kind of letters I have written to you with my own hand.	11 Seht, mit was für Buchstaben ich euch schreibe mit eigener Hand!
12 For as many of you as they desire to please in the flesh, they compel to be circumcised, but only so that they might not suffer the persecution of the cross of Christ.	12 Die nach außen schön dastehen möchten im Fleische, die zwingen euch zur Beschneidung nur deshalb, damit sie um des Kreuzes willen nicht verfolgt werden.
13 And yet, neither do they themselves, who are circumcised, keep the law. Instead, they want you to be circumcised, so that they may glory in your flesh.	13 Denn nicht einmal sie, die Beschnittenen, halten das Gesetz; aber sie wollen, daß ihr euch beschneiden laßt, damit sie in eurem Fleische sich rühmen könnten.
14 But far be it from me to glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.	14 Mir sei es ferne, mich in etwas anderem zu rühmen als im Kreuze unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, durch den mir die Welt gekreuzigt ist und ich der Welt.
15 For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails in any way, but instead there is a new creature.	15 Denn weder Beschneidung gilt etwas noch Unbeschnittensein, sondern eine neue Schöpfung.
16 And whoever follows this rule: may peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.	16 Und alle, die nach diesem Grundsatz gehen, Heil über sie und Erbarmen, und über das Israel Gottes.
17 Concerning other matters, let no one trouble me. For I carry the stigmata of the Lord Jesus in my body.	17 Fortan mache mir niemand Beschwernis; denn ich trage die Kennmale [des Herrn] Jesus an meinem Leibe.
18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.	18 Die Gnade unseres Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit eurem Geiste, Brüder! Amen.
