And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude. | 8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan. And they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing the things which he did, came to him. |
And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him. | 9 And he spoke to his disciples that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him. |
For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him. | 10 For he healed many, so that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had evils. |
And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying, | 11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him: and they cried, saying: |
“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known. | 12 Thou art the Son of God. And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known. |
And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him. | 13 And going up into a mountain, he called unto him whom he would himself: and they came to him. |
