Daniel 12

1 “But at that time Michael will rise up, the great leader, who stands up for the sons of your people. And a time will come, such as has not been from the time that nations began, even until that time. And, at that time, your people will be saved, all who will be found written in the book.	1 (Mais) En ce temps-là, Michel, le grand prince, s'élèvera, lui qui protège (est pour) les enfants de ton peuple ; et il viendra un temps tel qu'il n'y en a pas eu depuis que les peuples ont commencé à exister, jusqu'à ce jour. En ce temps-là, quiconque, parmi ton peuple, sera trouvé écrit dans le livre, sera sauvé.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awaken: some to everlasting life, and others to a reproach that they will always see.	2 Et beaucoup de ceux qui dorment dans la poussière de la terre se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, et les autres pour l'opprobre qu'ils verront toujours.
3 But those who have taught will shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who instruct many towards justice, like the stars for unending eternity.	3 Et ceux qui auront été savants brilleront comme la splendeur du firmament ; et ceux qui en auront instruit plusieurs dans la justice luiront comme des étoiles dans des éternités sans fin.
4 But you, Daniel, close the message and seal the book, until the established time. Many will pass through, and knowledge will be increased.”	4 Pour (Mais) toi, Daniel, tiens ces paroles fermées, et scelle le livre jusqu'au temps marqué ; plusieurs (beaucoup) le parcourront et la science se multipliera.
5 And I, Daniel, looked, and behold, similarly two others stood up, one over here, on the bank of the river, and the other over there, on the other bank of the river.	5 Et moi, Daniel, je regardai, et voici, comme deux autres hommes étaient debout : l'un en deçà, sur une rive du fleuve, et l'autre au-delà, sur l'autre rive du fleuve.
6 And I said to the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”	6 Et je dis à l'homme vêtu de lin qui se tenait sur les eaux du fleuve : Quand sera la fin de ces merveilles ?
7 And I heard the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, when he had lifted his right hand and his left hand up to heaven, and had sworn by He who lives forever, that it would be for a time, and times, and half a time. And when the dispersion of the hand of the holy people is completed, all these things will be completed.	7 Et j'entendis l'homme vêtu de lin qui se tenait sur les eaux du fleuve ; élevant au ciel la main droite et la main gauche, il jura par celui qui vit éternellement que ce serait dans un temps, deux temps et la moitié d'un temps, et que toutes ces choses seraient accomplies, lorsque la dispersion de l'assemblée du peuple (saint) serait achevée.
8 And I heard and did not understand. And I said, “My lord, what will be after these things?”	8 J'entendis, et je ne compris pas. Et je dis : Mon Seigneur, qu'arrivera-t-il après cela ?
9 And he said, “Go, Daniel, for the words are closed and sealed until the predetermined time.	9 Et il dit : Va, Daniel ; car ces (les) paroles sont fermées et scellées jusqu'au temps marqué.
10 Many will be chosen and purified, and, as if by fire, they will be tested, and the impious will act impiously, and none of the impious will understand, yet the teachers will understand.	10 Plusieurs (Beaucoup) seront élus, et blanchis, et éprouvés comme (par) le feu ; les impies agiront avec impiété, et tous les (aucun des) impies ne comprendront pas ; mais ceux qui seront instruits comprendront.
11 And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.	11 A partir du temps où le sacrifice perpétuel aura été aboli, et l'abomination de la désolation établie, il y aura mille deux cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.
12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.	12 (Bien) Heureux celui qui attend et qui parvient jusqu'à mille trois cent trente-cinq jours ! (.)
13 But you, go, until the predetermined time, and you will rest and will stand in your allotted place at the end of days.	13 Pour toi, va jusqu'au temps marqué, et tu te reposeras, et tu demeureras dans ton sort jusqu'à la fin des jours.
