Psalms 96

1 This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.	1 Співайте Господеві нову пісню, співайте Господеві, уся земле!
2 Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.	2 Співайте Господеві, благословіть його ім’я; звіщайте день-у-день його спасіння.
3 A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.	3 Повідайте між племенами його славу, між усіма народами його діла предивні.
4 His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.	4 Бо Господь великий і вельми достойний слави, страшний над усіма богами.
5 The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.	5 Бо всі боги поган — кумири, Господь же створив небо.
6 The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.	6 Велич і краса перед обличчям у нього, сила й слава в його святині.
7 May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.	7 Воздайте Господеві, сім’ї народів, воздайте Господеві славу й силу.
8 Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.	8 Воздайте Господеві славу його імени; принесіть дари й увійдіть у його двори.
9 For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.	9 Вклонітеся Господеві у пишних шатах, тремтіть перед ним, уся земле!
10 You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.	10 Скажіть між народами: «Господь царює!» Світ стоїть твердо, не похитнеться. Він судить народи справедливо.
11 The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.	11 Радується небо, і земля хай веселиться, нехай заграє море і його повнота.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.	12 Поле й усе що на ньому, хай веселяться; тоді всі дерева в діброві радісно співатимуть
	13 перед Господом; бо він приходить, приходить він судити землю і судитиме по справедливості всесвіт, і по своїй вірності народи.
