1 This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.	1 Salmo di Davidde, quando la terra di lui fu ristorata. IL Signore è nel suo regno: esulti la terra, le molte isole si rallegrino.
2 Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.	2 Intorno a lui una nube caliginosa: reggono il trono di lui la giustizia, e il giudicio.
3 A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.	3 Precederà innanzi a lui il fuoco, e abbrugerà all'intorno tutti i suoi nemici.
4 His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.	4 Lampeggiarono le sue folgora per tutto il giro della terra: le vide, e fa scossa la terra.
5 The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.	5 I monti come cera si liquefecero alla presenza del Signore: alla presenza del Signore si liquefece tutta la terra.
6 The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.	6 Hanno annunziata i cieli la giustizia di lui, e han veduta tutti i popoli la sua gloria.
7 May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.	7 Sian confusi tutti coloro, che adorano scolpite immagini, e de' lor simolacri si gloriano.
8 Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.	8 Adoratelo voi tutti o Angeli di lui: udì Sionne, e n' ebbe allegrezza. Ed esultarono le figliuole di Giuda per ragione de' tuoi giudizj, o Signore.
9 For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.	9 Imperocché tu il Signore altissimo sopra tutta la terra: tu se' oltre modo esaltato sopra tutti gli dei.
10 You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.	10 Voi che amate il Signore, odiate il male: il Signore è custode dell'anime de' suoi santi, ei le libererà dalle mani del peccatore.
11 The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.	11 E nata pel giusto la luce, la leti zia per que', che hanno il cuore retto.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.	12 Rallegratevi nel Signore, o giusti e celebrate la memoria della sua santità.
