1 The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded.	1 Laude del cantico, a esso David, nel dì dinanzi al sabbato, quando fondata fu la terra. Il Signore ha regnato, s'è vestito di bellezza; vestito è il Signore di fortezza, e cinsesi. E certo firmò il circuito della terra, il quale non si commoverà.
2 The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty.	2 Allora era apparecchiata la sedia tua; dinanzi al mondo tu sei.
3 The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.	3 Elevarono gli fiumi del Signore, elevarono li fiumi la voce sua. Elevarono li fiumi le onde sue
4 My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.	4 dalla voce di molte acque. Maravigliosi li alzamenti del mare; maraviglioso è il Signore nelle cose alte.
5 Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.	5 Sono fatte molto credibili le tue promissioni; alla tua casa conviensi la santificazione, Signore, nella lunghezza de' giorni.
