1 A Canticle Psalm to the sons of Korah. Its foundations are in the holy mountains:	1 Dos filhos de Coré. Salmo. Cântico. O Senhor ama a sua fundação sobre os montes santos:
2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.	2 (ama) as portas de Sião mais que todos os tabernáculos de Jacob.
3 Glorious things are being said of you, O City of God.	3 Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus!
4 I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold, the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these have been there.	4 Incluirei Raab e Babel entre os que me veneram; a Filisteia, Tiro e o povo da Etiópia, todos estes (povos) nasceram lá.
5 Will not Zion say that this man and that man were born in her? And the Most High himself has founded her.	5 E de Sião se dirá: "Um por um, todos nasceram nela, e foi o próprio Altíssimo que a consolidou."
6 The Lord will explain, in the writings of peoples and of leaders, about those who have been in her.	6 O Senhor escreverá do livro dos povos: "Estes nasceram lá."
7 For so the dwelling place within you is with all rejoicing.	7 E, formando um coro, cantarão: "Todas as minhas fontes estão em ti."
