2 How beloved are your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!	2 Dio, non startene inerte, non tacere né restar quieto, Dio.
3 My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.	3 Poiché ecco i tuoi nemici tumultuano e coloro che ti odiano levano la testa.
4 For even the sparrow has found a home for himself, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: your altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.	4 Contro il tuo popolo fanno consigli astuti e cospirano contro i tuoi protetti.
5 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, O Lord. They will praise you from age to age.	5 Hanno detto: «Venite e cancelliamoli di tra le nazioni né sia mai più menzionato il nome d’Israele»,

	17 Riempi il loro volto d’ignominia e cerchino il tuo nome, Jahvè.
	18 Siano confusi e paventino per sempre, siano svergognati e periscano.
	19 E sappiano che tu solo ti chiami Jahvè, eccelso su tutta la terra.
