Psalms 111

1 Alleluia. Of the return of Haggai and Zachariah. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord. He will prefer his commandments exceedingly.	1 Alleluia, del ritornare di Agge? e Zacaria. Beato l'uomo che teme il Signore; molto desidera nelli suoi comandamenti.
2 His offspring will be powerful on the earth. The generation of the upright will be blessed.	2 Il suo seme sarà potente nella terra; sarà benedetta la generazione de' dritti.
3 Glory and wealth will be in his house, and his justice shall remain from age to age.	3 Nella sua casa saranno gloria e ricchezze; e la sua giustizia starà ferma IN SECULUM SECULI.
4 For the upright, a light has risen up in the darkness. He is merciful and compassionate and just.	4 Egli è nasciuto alli dritti il lume nelle tenebre; (il Signore è) misericordioso e pieno di misericordia e giusto.
5 Pleasing is the man who shows mercy and lends. He will order his words with judgment.	5 Egli è giocondo l'uomo che ha misericordia e presta; ordina nel giudicio il parlare suo;
6 For he will not be disturbed in eternity.	6 per che già mai non si moverà.
7 The just one will be an everlasting memorial. He will not fear a report of disasters. His heart is prepared to hope in the Lord.	7 Nella eterna memoria sarà il giusto; non temerà dal male udire. Apparecchiato è il suo cuore a sperare nel Signore;
8 His heart has been confirmed. He will not be disturbed, until he looks down upon his enemies.	8 confirmato il cuore suo; non si commoverà, insino ch' e' dispregia li suoi nemici.
9 He has distributed, he has given to the poor. His justice shall remain from age to age. His horn shall be exalted in glory.	9 Disperse, e dètte alli poveri; la giustizia sua IN SECULUM SECULI starà; la sua umilità si esalterà in gloria.
10 The sinner will see and become angry. He will gnash his teeth and waste away. The desire of sinners will perish.	10 Vederà il peccatore, e adirarassi; colli suoi denti ansierà, e verrà meno; il desiderio de' peccatori perirà.
