Job 32

1 But these three men ceased to answer Job, because he considered himself justified.	1 ORA essendo que’ tre uomini restati di rispondere a Giobbe, perchè gli pareva di esser giusto;
2 And Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram, was angry and indignant. But he was angry against Job because he described himself to be just in the presence of God.	2 Elihu, figliuolo di Baracheel, Buzita, della nazione di Ram, si accese nell’ira contro a Giobbe, perchè giustificava sè stesso anzi che Iddio;
3 Moreover, he was indignant with his friends because they had not found a reasonable response, except in so far as they condemned Job.	3 e contro a’ tre amici di esso, perciocchè non aveano trovata alcuna replica, e pure aveano condannato Giobbe.
4 Therefore, Eliu waited while Job was talking, for these were his elders that were speaking.	4 Ora Elihu avea aspettato che Giobbe avesse parlato; perciocchè egli ed i suoi amici erano più attempati di lui.
5 But when he saw that these three were not able to respond, he was extremely angry.	5 Ma, veggendo che non vi era replica alcuna nella bocca di que’ tre uomini, egli si accese nell’ira
6 And so Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite responded by saying: I am younger in years, and you are more ancient; therefore, I kept my head low, for I was afraid to reveal to you my opinion.	6 Ed Elihu, figliuolo di Baracheel, Buzita, parlò, e disse: Io son giovane, e voi siete molto attempati; Perciò io ho avuta paura, ed ho temuto Di dichiararvi il mio parere.
7 For I had hoped that greater age would speak, and that a multitude of years would teach wisdom.	7 Io diceva: L’età parlerà, E la moltitudine degli anni farà conoscere la sapienza.
8 But I see now that there is only breath in men, and that it is the inspiration of the Almighty that gives understanding.	8 Certo lo spirito è negli uomini, Ma l’inspirazione dell’Onnipotente li fa intendere.
9 The wise are not the aged, nor do the elders understand judgment.	9 I maggiori non son sempre savi; E i vecchi non intendono sempre la dirittura.
10 Therefore, I will speak. Listen to me, and so I will show you my wisdom.	10 Perciò io ho detto: Ascoltatemi; Ed io ancora dichiarerò il mio parere.
11 For I have endured your words; I have paid attention to your deliberations, while you were being argumentative with words.	11 Ecco, io ho aspettate le vostre parole, Io ho pòrto l’orecchio alle vostre considerazioni, Finchè voi aveste ricercati de’ ragionamenti.
12 And as long as I supposed that you were saying something, I considered; but now I see that there is none of you that is able to argue with Job and to respond to his words.	12 Ma avendo posto mente a voi, Ecco, non vi è alcun di voi che convinca Giobbe, Che risponda a’ suoi ragionamenti;
13 So that you will not say, “We have found wisdom,” God has thrown him down, not man.	13 Che talora non diciate: Noi abbiamo trovata la sapienza; Scaccilo ora Iddio, e non un uomo.
14 He has said nothing to me, and I will not respond to him according to your words.	14 Or egli non ha ordinati i suoi ragionamenti contro a me; Io altresì non gli risponderò secondo le vostre parole
15 Then they were filled with dread, and so they no longer responded, and they withdrew from their speechmaking.	15 Essi si sono sgomentati, non hanno più risposto; Le parole sono state loro tolte di bocca.
16 Therefore, because I have waited and they have not been speaking, for they stood firm and did not respond at all,	16 Io dunque ho aspettato; ma perciocchè non parlano più, Perchè restano e non rispondono più;
17 I also will answer in my turn, and I will reveal my knowledge.	17 Io ancora risponderò per la parte mia; Io ancora dichiarerò il mio parere;
18 For I am full of words, and the feeling in my gut inspires me.	18 Perciocchè io son pieno di parole, Lo spirito del mio ventre mi stringe.
19 Yes, my stomach is like fermenting wine without a vent, which bursts the new containers.	19 Ecco, il mio ventre è come un vino che non ha spiraglio, E schianterebbesi come barili nuovi.
20 I should speak, but I will also breathe a little; I will open my lips, and I will answer.	20 Io parlerò adunque, ed avrò alcuna respirazione; Io aprirò le mie labbra, e risponderò.
21 I will not esteem the reputation of a man, and I will not equate God with man.	21 Già non mi avvenga di aver riguardo alla qualità della persona di alcuno; Io non m’infingerò parlando ad un uomo.
22 For I do not know how long I will continue, and whether, after a while, my Maker might take me away.	22 Perciocchè io non so infingermi; Altrimenti, colui che mi ha fatto di subito mi torrebbe via
