Exodus 31

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
2 “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	2 « Ecco io ho chiamato per nome Beseleel figlio di Uri, figlio di Ur, della tribù di Giuda,
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge in every craft,	3 e l'ho ripieno dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, d'intelligenza, di scienza per ogni sorta di lavori,
4 in order to design whatever must be fabricated from gold, and silver, and brass,	4 per inventare tutto quel che può farsi col l'oro, coll'argento, col rame,
5 from marble, and precious stones, and various woods.	5 col marmo, colle gemme e coi diversi legnami.
6 And I have given to him, as his associate, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan. And I have placed wisdom in the heart of every artisan, so that they may make everything as I have instructed you:	6 E gli ho dato per compagno Ooliab, figlio di Achisamec, della tribù di Dan; ed ho posto della sapienza nel cuore di ogni abile artefice, perchè facciano tutte le cose che io ti ho ordinato:
7 the tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory which is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,	7 il Tabernacolo dell'alleanza, l'arca della testimonianza, il propiziatorio che le sta sopra, tutti gli arredi del Tabernacolo,
8 and the table and its vessels, the most pure lampstand with its vessels, and the altars of incense	8 la tavola coi suoi utensili, il candelabro purissimo con i suoi utensili, l'altare dei profumi,
9 and of holocaust and all their vessels, the washtub with its base,	9 quello degli olocausti con tutti i rispettivi strumenti, la conca colla sua base,
10 the holy vestments for the ministry of Aaron the priest, and for his sons, so that they may execute their office of sacred rites,	10 i paramenti sacri che dovran servire ad Aronne ed ai suoi figli per esercitare il loro sacerdozio.
11 the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics in the Sanctuary. All the things that I have instructed you, they shall make.”	11 L'olio dell'unzione e i profumi aromatici pel santuario: essi faranno tutto quello che io ti ho ordinato ».
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	12 E il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè e disse:
13 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: See that you keep my Sabbath. For it is a sign between me and you among your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctifies you.	13 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Badate bene di osservare i miei sabati, perchè il sabato è un segno tra me e voi nelle vostre generazioni, perchè riconosciate che io sono il Signore che vi santifico.
14 Keep my Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Whoever will have polluted it, shall die a death. Whoever will have done any work in it, his soul shall perish from the midst of his people.	14 Osservate adunque il mio sabato, perchè è un giorno santo per voi; chiunque lo profanerà sarà punito colla morte; chi in tal giorno lavorerà perirà di mezzo al suo popolo.
15 For six days you shall do work. On the seventh day, it is the Sabbath, a rest sanctified by the Lord. All who will have done work on this day shall die.	15 Per sei giorni lavorerete; ma nel settimo cade il sabato, il riposo santo del Signore: chiunque in tal giorno lavorerà sarà messo a morto.
16 Let the sons of Israel keep the Sabbath, and let them celebrate it throughout their generations. It is an everlasting covenant	16 Custodiscano adunque i figli d'Israele il sabato, e lo celebrino nelle loro generazioni: è un patto sempiterno
17 between me and the sons of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.”	17 tra me e i figli d'Israele, un segno perpetuo; perchè in sei giorni il Signore fece il cielo e la terra, e nel settimo cessò dall'opera ».
18 And the Lord, having completed speaking in this way on Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tablets of testimony, written with the finger of God.	18 E il Signore, finiti questi discorsi sul monte Sinai, diede a Mosè le due tavole della testimonianza, di pietra, scritte dal dito di Dio.
