Exodus 31

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 El Señor habló a Moisés en estos términos:
2 “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	2 Yo designé a Besalel –hijo de Urí, hijo de Jur, de la tribu de Judá–
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge in every craft,	3 y lo llené del espíritu de Dios, para conferirle habilidad, talento y experiencia en la ejecución de toda clase de trabajos:
4 in order to design whatever must be fabricated from gold, and silver, and brass,	4 tanto para idear proyectos y realizarlos en oro, plata o bronce,
5 from marble, and precious stones, and various woods.	5 como para labrar piedras de engaste, tallar la madera o hacer cualquier otro trabajo.
6 And I have given to him, as his associate, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan. And I have placed wisdom in the heart of every artisan, so that they may make everything as I have instructed you:	6 Junto con él puse a Oholiab, hijo de Ajisamac, de la tribu de Dan, y doté de una habilidad especial a todos los artesanos competentes, a fin de que puedan ejecutar lo que les he ordenado, a saber:
7 the tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory which is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,	7 la Carpa del Encuentro, el Arca del Testimonio, la tapa que la cubre y todo el mobiliario del Santuario;
8 and the table and its vessels, the most pure lampstand with its vessels, and the altars of incense	8 la mesa con sus utensilios, el candelabro de oro puro con todos sus accesorios, y el altar de los perfumes;
9 and of holocaust and all their vessels, the washtub with its base,	9 el altar de los holocaustos y todos sus utensilios, y la fuente con su base;
10 the holy vestments for the ministry of Aaron the priest, and for his sons, so that they may execute their office of sacred rites,	10 las vestiduras litúrgicas, o sea, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón y las que usarán sus hijos para las funciones sacerdotales;
11 the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics in the Sanctuary. All the things that I have instructed you, they shall make.”	11 el óleo de la unción y el incienso aromático para el Santuario. En la ejecución de todas estas cosas, ellos obrarán conforme a todo lo que yo te he ordenado.
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	12 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
13 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: See that you keep my Sabbath. For it is a sign between me and you among your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctifies you.	13 Habla a los israelitas en los siguientes términos: No dejen nunca de observar mis sábados, porque el sábado es un signo puesto entre yo y ustedes, a través de las generaciones, para que ustedes sepan que yo, el Señor, soy el que los santifico.
14 Keep my Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Whoever will have polluted it, shall die a death. Whoever will have done any work in it, his soul shall perish from the midst of his people.	14 Observarán el sábado, porque es sagrado para ustedes. El que lo profane, será castigado con la muerte. Sí, todo el que haga algún trabajo ese día será excluido de su pueblo.
15 For six days you shall do work. On the seventh day, it is the Sabbath, a rest sanctified by the Lord. All who will have done work on this day shall die.	15 Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo será un día de descanso solemne, consagrado al Señor. El que trabaje en sábado será castigado con la muerte.
16 Let the sons of Israel keep the Sabbath, and let them celebrate it throughout their generations. It is an everlasting covenant	16 Los israelitas observarán el sábado, celebrándolo a través de las generaciones como signo de alianza eterna.
17 between me and the sons of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.”	17 Será un signo perdurable entre yo y los israelitas, porque en seis días el Señor hizo el cielo y la tierra, pero el séptimo día descansó y retomó aliento.
18 And the Lord, having completed speaking in this way on Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tablets of testimony, written with the finger of God.	18 Cuando el Señor terminó de hablar con Moisés, en la montaña del Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del Testimonio, tablas de piedra escritas por el dedo de Dios.
