1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Yahvé s’adressa à Moïse et lui dit:
2 “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	2 “Je viens d’appeler par son nom Bésaléel, fils d’Ouri, fils de Hour de la tribu de Juda.
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge in every craft,	3 Je l’ai rempli de l’esprit de Dieu; je lui ai donné sagesse, intelligence et savoir-faire en toute spécialité
4 in order to design whatever must be fabricated from gold, and silver, and brass,	4 pour faire des œuvres d’art, pour travailler l’or, l’argent et le bronze,
5 from marble, and precious stones, and various woods.	5 pour tailler les pierres à sertir et tailler le bois, en un mot, pour tout métier.
6 And I have given to him, as his associate, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan. And I have placed wisdom in the heart of every artisan, so that they may make everything as I have instructed you:	6 J’ai choisi pour l’aider Oholiab, fils d’Akhisamac, de la tribu de Dan, et j’ai donné le savoir-faire à tous ceux qui en sont capables, de façon qu’ils puissent exécuter tout ce que je t’ai ordonné:
7 the tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory which is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,	7 la Tente du Rendez-Vous, l’Arche du Témoignage, l’Instrument de l’Expiation qui la recouvre et tous les objets qui sont dans la Tente;
8 and the table and its vessels, the most pure lampstand with its vessels, and the altars of incense	8 la table et ses accessoires, le chandelier pur et ses accessoires ainsi que l’autel de l’encens;
9 and of holocaust and all their vessels, the washtub with its base,	9 l’autel pour l’holocauste et tous ses accessoires, la cuve et son support;
10 the holy vestments for the ministry of Aaron the priest, and for his sons, so that they may execute their office of sacred rites,	10 les habits de cérémonie et les habits sacrés du prêtre Aaron, ainsi que les habits de ses fils pour accomplir leur ministère;
11 the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics in the Sanctuary. All the things that I have instructed you, they shall make.”	11 l’huile pour l’onction et l’encens parfumé pour le Saint. Ils feront tout cela de la façon que je t’ai commandé.”
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	12 Yahvé s’adressa à Moïse et lui dit:
13 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: See that you keep my Sabbath. For it is a sign between me and you among your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctifies you.	13 “Voici ce que tu diras aux fils d’Israël: Ne manquez pas de garder mes Sabbats. Ils sont un signe entre moi et vous, de génération en génération, pour que vous sachiez que c’est moi, Yahvé, qui vous sanctifie.
14 Keep my Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Whoever will have polluted it, shall die a death. Whoever will have done any work in it, his soul shall perish from the midst of his people.	14 Vous observerez donc le Sabbat, ce sera un jour saint pour vous. Celui qui le profanera sera mis à mort; celui qui travaillera ce jour-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.
15 For six days you shall do work. On the seventh day, it is the Sabbath, a rest sanctified by the Lord. All who will have done work on this day shall die.	15 Pendant six jours on travaillera, mais le septième jour sera un jour de repos complet, consacré à Yahvé. Celui qui travaillera le jour du Sabbat devra mourir.
16 Let the sons of Israel keep the Sabbath, and let them celebrate it throughout their generations. It is an everlasting covenant	16 Les Israélites observeront donc le Sabbat, ils pratiqueront le Sabbat de génération en génération: c’est là une alliance perpétuelle.
17 between me and the sons of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.”	17 Ce sera un signe à jamais entre moi et les Israélites, car en six jours Yahvé a fait le ciel et la terre, mais le septième jour il s’est arrêté pour souffler.”
18 And the Lord, having completed speaking in this way on Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tablets of testimony, written with the finger of God.	18 Après cela, lorsque Dieu eut fini de parler à Moïse sur le mont Sinaï, il lui donna les deux tables du Témoignage, tables de pierre écrites de la main de Dieu.
