Exodus 31

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:
2 “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	2 "Vois, j'ai désigné nommément Beçaléel, fils de Uri, fils de Hur, de la tribu de Juda.
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge in every craft,	3 Je l'ai comblé de l'esprit de Dieu en habileté, intelligence et savoir pour toutes sortes d'ouvrages;
4 in order to design whatever must be fabricated from gold, and silver, and brass,	4 pour concevoir des projets et les exécuter en or, en argent et en bronze;
5 from marble, and precious stones, and various woods.	5 pour tailler les pierres à enchâsser, pour tailler le bois et pour exécuter toute sorte d'ouvrage.
6 And I have given to him, as his associate, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan. And I have placed wisdom in the heart of every artisan, so that they may make everything as I have instructed you:	6 Voici que je lui adjoins Oholiab, fils d'Ahisamak, de la tribu de Dan, et j'ai mis la sagesse dans lecoeur de tous les hommes au coeur sage pour qu'ils fassent tout ce que je t'ai ordonné:
7 the tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory which is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,	7 la Tente du Rendez-vous, l'arche du Témoignage, le propitiatoire qui est sur elle et tout le mobilierde la Tente;
8 and the table and its vessels, the most pure lampstand with its vessels, and the altars of incense	8 la table et tous ses accessoires, le candélabre pur et tous ses accessoires, l'autel des parfums,
9 and of holocaust and all their vessels, the washtub with its base,	9 l'autel des holocaustes et tous ses accessoires, le bassin et son socle;
10 the holy vestments for the ministry of Aaron the priest, and for his sons, so that they may execute their office of sacred rites,	10 les vêtements d'apparat, les vêtements sacrés pour Aaron le prêtre, et les vêtements de ses fils, pourexercer le sacerdoce;
11 the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics in the Sanctuary. All the things that I have instructed you, they shall make.”	11 l'huile d'onction et l'encens aromatique pour le sanctuaire. En tout, ils feront comme je te l'aiordonné."
12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	12 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
13 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: See that you keep my Sabbath. For it is a sign between me and you among your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctifies you.	13 "Toi, parle aux Israélites et dis-leur: vous garderez bien mes sabbats, car c'est un signe entre moi etvous pour vos générations, afin qu'on sache que je suis Yahvé, celui qui vous sanctifie.
14 Keep my Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Whoever will have polluted it, shall die a death. Whoever will have done any work in it, his soul shall perish from the midst of his people.	14 Vous garderez le sabbat car il est saint pour vous. Qui le profanera sera mis à mort; quiconque ferace jour-là quelque ouvrage sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.
15 For six days you shall do work. On the seventh day, it is the Sabbath, a rest sanctified by the Lord. All who will have done work on this day shall die.	15 Pendant six jours on fera l'ouvrage à faire, mais le septième jour sera jour de repos complet,consacré à Yahvé. Quiconque travaillera le jour du sabbat sera mis à mort.
16 Let the sons of Israel keep the Sabbath, and let them celebrate it throughout their generations. It is an everlasting covenant	16 Les Israélites garderont le sabbat, en observant le sabbat dans leurs générations, c'est une allianceéternelle.
17 between me and the sons of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.”	17 Entre moi et les Israélites c'est un signe à perpétuité, car en six jours Yahvé a fait les cieux et laterre, mais le septième jour il a chômé et repris haleine."
18 And the Lord, having completed speaking in this way on Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tablets of testimony, written with the finger of God.	18 Quand il eut fini de parler avec Moïse sur le mont Sinaï, Il lui remit les deux tables duTémoignage, tables de pierre écrites du doigt de Dieu.
