3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him from the daughter of Shua, the Canaanite. 6 Also, the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, as well as Calcol and Dara, five altogether.	6 Filii quoque Zaræ : Zamri, et Ethan, et Eman, Chalchal quoque, et Dara, simul quinque.
7 The sons of Carmi: Achar, who disturbed Israel and sinned by the theft of what was anathema.	7 Filii Charmi : Achar, qui turbavit Israël, et peccavit in furto anathematis.
8 The sons of Ethan: Azariah.	8 Filii Ethan : Azarias.
9 And the sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.	9 Filii autem Hesron qui nati sunt ei : Jerameel, et Ram, et Calubi.
10 Then Ram conceived Amminadab. And Amminadab conceived Nahshon, a leader of the sons of Judah.	10 Porro Ram genuit Aminadab. Aminadab autem genuit Nahasson, principem filiorum Juda.
11 Also, Nahshon conceived Salma, from whom Boaz rose up.	11 Nahasson quoque genuit Salma, de quo ortus est Booz.
12 Truly, Boaz conceived Obed, who also himself conceived Jesse.	12 Booz vero genuit Obed, qui et ipse genuit Isai.
13 Now Jesse conceived the firstborn Eliab, the second Abinadab, the third Shammah,	13 Isai autem genuit primogenitum Eliab, secundum Abinadab, tertium Simmaa,
14 the fourth Nethanel, the fifth Raddai,	14 quartum Nathanaël, quintum Raddai,
15 the sixth Ozem, the seventh David.	15 sextum Asom, septimum David.
16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.	16 Quorum sorores fuerunt Sarvia et Abigail. Filii Sarviæ : Abisai, Joab, et Asaël, tres.
17 And Abigail conceived Amasa, whose father was Jether, the Ishmaelite.	17 Abigail autem genuit Amasa, cujus pater fuit Jether Ismahelites.
18 Truly, Caleb, the son of Hezron, took a wife named Azubah, of whom he conceived Jerioth. And her sons were Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.	18 Caleb vero filius Hesron accepit uxorem nomine Azuba, de qua genuit Jerioth : fueruntque filii ejus Jaser, et Sobab, et Ardon.
19 And when Azubah had died, Caleb took as wife Ephratha, who bore to him Hur.	19 Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Caleb Ephratha, quæ peperit ei Hur.
20 Now Hur conceived Uri. And Uri conceived Bezalel.	20 Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Bezeleel.
21 And afterwards, Hezron entered to the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead. And he took her when he was sixty years old. And she bore to him Segub.	21 Post hæc ingressus est Hesron ad filiam Machir patris Galaad, et accepit eam cum esset annorum sexaginta : quæ peperit ei Segub.
22 And then Segub conceived Jair, and he possessed twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.	22 Sed et Segub genuit Jair, et possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad.
23 And he seized Geshur and Aram, towns of Jair, and Kenath and its villages, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir, father of Gilead.	23 Cepitque Gessur et Aram oppida Jair, et Canath, et viculos ejus sexaginta civitatum : omnes isti filii Machir patris Galaad.
24 Then, when Hezron had died, Caleb entered to Ephratha. Also, Hezron had as wife Abia, who bore to him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.	24 Cum autem mortuus esset Hesron, ingressus est Caleb ad Ephratha. Habuit quoque Hesron uxorem Abia, quæ peperit ei Assur patrem Thecuæ.
25 Now sons were born to Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron: Ram, his firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.	25 Nati sunt autem filii Jerameel primogeniti Hesron, Ram primogenitus ejus, et Buna, et Aram, et Asom, et Achia.
26 Jerahmeel also married another wife, named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.	26 Duxit quoque uxorem alteram Jerameel, nomine Atara, quæ fuit mater Onam.
27 Then too, the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.	27 Sed et filii Ram primogeniti Jerameel fuerunt Moos, Jamin, et Achar.
28 And Onam had sons: Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.	28 Onam autem habuit filios Semei et Jada. Filii autem Semei : Nadab et Abisur.
29 Truly, the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, who bore to him Ahban and Molid.	29 Nomen vero uxoris Abisur, Abihail, quæ peperit ei Ahobban et Molid.
30 Now the sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim. And Seled died without children.	30 Filii autem Nadab fuerunt Saled et Apphaim. Mortuus est autem Saled absque liberis.
31 Truly, the son of Appaim was Ishi. And Ishi conceived Sheshan. Then Sheshan conceived Ahlai.	31 Filius vero Apphaim, Jesi : qui Jesi genuit Sesan. Porro Sesan genuit Oholai.
32 But the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan. Then Jether also died without children.	32 Filii autem Jada fratris Semei : Jether, et Jonathan. Sed et Jether mortuus est absque liberis.
33 And Jonathan conceived Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.	33 Porro Jonathan genuit Phaleth, et Ziza. Isti fuerunt filii Jerameel.
34 Now Sheshan did not have sons, but only daughters, and an Egyptian servant named Jarha.	34 Sesan autem non habuit filios, sed filias : et servum ægyptium nomine Jeraa.
35 And so he gave to him his daughter as wife, who bore to him Attai.	35 Deditque ei filiam suam uxorem : quæ peperit ei Ethei.
36 Then Attai conceived Nathan, and Nathan conceived Zabad.	36 Ethei autem genuit Nathan, et Nathan genuit Zabad.
37 Also, Zabad conceived Ephlal, and Ephlal conceived Obed.	37 Zabad quoque genuit Ophlal, et Ophlal genuit Obed.
38 Obed conceived Jehu; Jehu conceived Azariah.	38 Obed genuit Jehu, Jehu genuit Azariam,
39 Azariah conceived Helez, and Helez conceived Eleasah.	39 Azarias genuit Helles, et Helles genuit Elasa.
40 Eleasah conceived Sismai; Sismai conceived Shallum.	40 Elasa genuit Sisamoi, Sisamoi genuit Sellum,
41 Shallum conceived Jekamiah; then Jekamiah conceived Elishama.	41 Sellum genuit Icamiam, Icamia autem genuit Elisama.
42 And the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mesha, the father of Hebron.	42 Filii autem Caleb fratris Jerameel : Mesa primogenitus ejus ; ipse est pater Ziph : et filii Maresa patris Hebron.
43 Now the sons of Hebron were Korah, and Tapuah, and Rekem, and Shema.	43 Porro filii Hebron, Core, et Taphua, et Recem, et Samma.
44 Then Shema conceived Raham, the father of Jorkeam. And Rekem conceived Shammai.	44 Samma autem genuit Raham, patrem Jercaam, et Recem genuit Sammai.
45 The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.	45 Filius Sammai, Maon : et Maon pater Bethsur.
46 Now Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez. And Haran conceived Gazez.	46 Epha autem concubina Caleb peperit Haran, et Mosa, et Gezez. Porro Haran genuit Gezez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.	47 Filii autem Jahaddai, Regom, et Joathan, et Gesan, et Phalet, et Epha, et Saaph.
48 And Maacah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.	48 Concubina Caleb Maacha, peperit Saber, et Tharana.
49 Then Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, conceived Sheva, the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. Truly, the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.	49 Genuit autem Saaph pater Madmena Sue, patrem Machbena et patrem Gabaa. Filia vero Caleb fuit Achsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratha: Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;	50 Hi erant filii Caleb, filii Hur primogeniti Ephratha, Sobal pater Cariathiarim.
51 Salma, the father of Bethlehem; Hareph, the father of Bethgader.	51 Salma pater Bethlehem, Hariph pater Bethgader.
52 Now there were sons for Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim, who saw half the places of rest.	52 Fuerunt autem filii Sobal patris Cariathiarim, qui videbat dimidium requietionum.
53 And from the kindred of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these, the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites went forth.	53 Et de cognatione Cariathiarim, Jethrei, et Aphuthei, et Semathei, et Maserei. Ex his egressi sunt Saraitæ, et Esthaolitæ.
54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half the places of rest of the Zorathites,	54 Filii Salma, Bethlehem, et Netophathi, coronæ domus Joab, et dimidium requietionis Sarai :
55 as well as the families of the scribes living in Jabesh, those singing and making music, and those dwelling in tents. These are the Kenites, who went forth from Calor, the father of the house of Rechab.	55 cognationes quoque scribarum habitantium in Jabes, canentes atque resonantes, et in tabernaculis commorantes. Hi sunt Cinæi, qui venerunt de Calore patris domus Rechab.
