1 Then some men came down from Judaea and taught the brothers, 'Unless you have yourselvescircumcised in the tradition of Moses you cannot be saved.'	1 Eközben néhányan azok közül, akik lejöttek Júdeából, így tanították a testvéreket: »Ha nem metélkedtek körül Mózes törvénye szerint, nem üdvözülhettek.«

3 The members of the church saw them off, and as they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria theytold how the gentiles had been converted, and this news was received with the greatest satisfaction by al thebrothers.	3 Az egyház elkísérte őket, ők pedig átmentek Fönícián és Szamarián. 4 When they arrived in Jerusalem they were welcomed by the church and by the apostles and elders,and gave an account of al that God had done through them.	4 Amikor megérkeztek Jeruzsálembe, az egyház, az apostolok és a presbiterek fogadták őket, ők pedig elbeszélték, hogy milyen nagy dolgokat művelt velük az Isten.

7 and after a long discussion, Peter stood up and addressed them. 22 Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose delegates from amongthemselves to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. 29 you are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals andfrom illicit marriages. Avoid these, and you wil do what is right. 30 The party left and went down to Antioch, where they summoned the whole community and deliveredthe letter.	30 Azok tehát, miután elbocsátották őket, lementek Antióchiába. Itt egybegyűjtötték a sokaságot, és átadták a levelet.
31 The community read it and were delighted with the encouragement it gave them.	31 Amikor elolvasták, örültek a vigasztalásnak.

35 Paul and Barnabas, however, stayed on in Antioch, and there with many others they taught andproclaimed the good news, the word of the Lord.	35 Pál és Barnabás is Antióchiában időztek. Tanítottak a többiekkel együtt, és hirdették az Úr igéjét.

39 There was sharp disagreement so that they parted company, and Barnabas sailed off with Mark toCyprus.	39 Így nézeteltérés támadt köztük, és különváltak egymástól. Barnabás Ciprusba hajózott, miután maga mellé vette Márkot.
40 Before Paul left, he chose Silas to accompany him and was commended by the brothers to the graceof God.	40 Pál viszont Szilást választotta, és útra kelt, miközben a testvérek őt Isten kegyelmébe ajánlották.
