Micah 2

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Disaster for those who plot evil, who lie in bed planning mischief! No sooner is it dawn than they do it,since they have the power to do so.	1 Guai a chi trama l'iniquità, a chi progetta il male sul suo letto! Dallo spuntar del mattino lo eseguono, perché è in potere delle loro mani!
2 Seizing the fields that they covet, they take over houses as wel , owner and house they seize alike, theman himself as wel as his inheritance.	2 Essi bramano campi e se ne impadroniscono; le case e le prendono. Si impossessano così di un uomo e della sua casa, di un individuo e della sua proprietà.
3 So Yahweh says this: Look, I am now plotting a disaster for this breed from which you wil not extricateyour necks; you wil not hold your heads up then, for the times wil be disastrous indeed.	3 Per questo così dice il Signore: Ecco io tramo contro questa genìa una sventura, da cui non potrete sottrarre i vostri colli né potrete marciare a testa alta, perché sarà tempo di sventura!
4 That day they wil make a satire on you, they wil strike up a dirge and say, 'We have been stripped ofeverything; my people's land has been divided up, no one else can restore it to them, our fields have beenawarded to our despoiler.'	4 In quel giorno si comporrà su di voi una satira, si canterà un lamento e si dirà: "Siamo spogliati di tutto; l'eredità del mio popolo è misurata con la fune; né c'è chi può restituirgliela; a chi ci spoglia sono assegnati i nostri campi!".
5 Because of this, you will have no one to measure out a share in Yahweh's community.	5 Perciò non ci sarà per voi nessuno che getti la corda per il sorteggio nell'assemblea del Signore!
6 'Do not drivel,' they drivel, 'do not drivel like this! Disgrace will not overtake us!	6 "Non vaticinate! -- essi vaticinano; -- non vaticinate tali cose! L'obbrobrio non ci capiterà!
7 'Can the House of Jacob be accursed? Has Yahweh grown short-tempered? Is that his way of going towork? His prophecies can only be favourable for his people Israel!'	7 Sarà forse maledetta la casa di Giacobbe? E' forse venuta meno la pazienza del Signore? E' forse questo il suo modo di agire? Non sono forse benevole le sue parole per il suo popolo Israele?".
8 But you are the ones who play the enemy to my people. From the inoffensive man you snatch his cloak,on those who feel safe you inflict the damage of war.	8 Voi contro il mio popolo vi siete levati come un nemico! Al pacifico voi togliete il mantello; a chi cammina sicuro voi portate la guerra!
9 My people's women you evict from the homes they love, and deprive the children of my glory for ever,	9 Voi cacciate le donne del mio popolo dalle case che esse amavano; voi togliete ai loro bambini l'onore che ho loro concesso in perpetuo!
10 saying, 'Up and off with you! You can't stay here!' For a worthless thing you exact an extortionatepledge.	10 In piedi! Avanti! Non è qui il riposo! Per un niente voi esigete un pegno insopportabile!
11 If a man of the spirit came and invented this lie, 'I prophesy wine and liquor for you,' he would be theprophet for a people like this.	11 Se ci fosse un ispirato che proferisse la menzogna: "Ti profetizzo in virtù del vino e della birra!", egli sarebbe il profeta di questo popolo.
12 I shall assemble the whole of Jacob, I shal gather the remnant of Israel, I shal gather them togetherlike sheep in an enclosure. And like a flock within their fold, they will bleat far away from anyone,	12 Io riunirò tutto quanto Giacobbe, raccoglierò il resto d'Israele! Li porrò insieme come gregge nello stazzo; come armento in mezzo al pascolo non avranno paura di nessuno.
13 their leader wil break out first, then al break out through the gate and escape, with their king leadingthe way and with Yahweh at their head.	13 Davanti a loro avanza il capofila; dietro a lui esse entrano ed escono; davanti a loro avanza il loro re: il Signore è alla loro testa!
