1 Disaster for those who plot evil, who lie in bed planning mischief! No sooner is it dawn than they do it,since they have the power to do so.	1 Guai a voi, che pensate alle inutilità, e ne' vostri letti divisate cose malvagie: e le eseguiscono costoro alla luce del mattino, perchè si son fatti contro Dio.
2 Seizing the fields that they covet, they take over houses as wel , owner and house they seize alike, theman himself as wel as his inheritance.	2 E desiderarono i poderi, e se gli usurparono con violenza, e invasero le case; e calunniarono questo per aver la sua casa, e quell'altro per le sue possessioni.
3 So Yahweh says this: Look, I am now plotting a disaster for this breed from which you wil not extricateyour necks; you wil not hold your heads up then, for the times wil be disastrous indeed.	3 Per questo cosi dice il Signore: Ecco, che io penso a mandare sciagure sopra questa famiglia, dalle quali voi non potrete sottrarvi, e non camminerete più altieri, perchè quel tempo è cattivissimo.
4 That day they wil make a satire on you, they wil strike up a dirge and say, 'We have been stripped ofeverything; my people's land has been divided up, no one else can restore it to them, our fields have beenawarded to our despoiler.'	4 In quel giorno sarà composta sopra di voi una parabola, e si canterà questa flebile canzona, e dirassi; Noi siamo stati saccheggiati, e desolati: il retaggio del popol mio ha cangiato di (padrone): come si ritirerà colui da me, mentre ritorna, che dividerà i nostri terreni?
5 Because of this, you will have no one to measure out a share in Yahweh's community.	5 Per questo tu non avrai chi misuri colla corda le porzioni alla adunanza del Signore.
6 'Do not drivel,' they drivel, 'do not drivel like this! Disgrace will not overtake us!	6 Non istate a far tante parole: elle non cadranno sopra costoro, né vergogna li prenderà.
7 'Can the House of Jacob be accursed? Has Yahweh grown short-tempered? Is that his way of going towork? His prophecies can only be favourable for his people Israel!'	7 La casa di Giacobbe va' dicendo: E' egli forse abbreviato lo spirito del Signore, o son eglino tali i suoi pensieri? Ma non parlo io con benignità a quelli, che camminano nella rettitudine?
8 But you are the ones who play the enemy to my people. From the inoffensive man you snatch his cloak,on those who feel safe you inflict the damage of war.	8 Ma per il contrario il mio popolo ha alzata bandiera di nemico: voi avete rubato e tonaca, e mantello; e quelli, che passavano senza far male, gli avete costretti a far guerra.
9 My people's women you evict from the homes they love, and deprive the children of my glory for ever,	9 Le donne del popol mio discacciaste dalle case, dove viveano con tente: e a' loro pargoletti chiudeste la bocca perchè non mi lodasser mai più.
10 saying, 'Up and off with you! You can't stay here!' For a worthless thing you exact an extortionatepledge.	10 Alzatevi, e partite; perocché non è qui vostra requie: perchè questa terra è renduta immonda, e corrotta da orrenda putredine.
11 If a man of the spirit came and invented this lie, 'I prophesy wine and liquor for you,' he would be theprophet for a people like this.	11 Fossi io un uomo, che non avessi lo spirito, e piuttosto dicessi io la bugia. Io verserò a te vino, ed ebbrezza: e questo vino su questo stesso popolo si verserà.
12 I shall assemble the whole of Jacob, I shal gather the remnant of Israel, I shal gather them togetherlike sheep in an enclosure. And like a flock within their fold, they will bleat far away from anyone,	12 Io ti ragunerò tutto insieme, o Giacobbe; rimetterò insieme le reliquie d'Israele, lo porrò come in un ovile, come un branco di pecore, nell'ovile la moltitudine della gente cagionerà del tumulto;
13 their leader wil break out first, then al break out through the gate and escape, with their king leadingthe way and with Yahweh at their head.	13 Imperocché anderà innanzi a loro colui, che apre la strada, sforzeranno la porta, e le passeranno, ed entreranno dentro; e il loro re passerà davanti a loro, e il Signore alla testa di essi.
