Ezekiel 5

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 'Son of man, take a sharp sword, use it like a barber's razor and run it over your head and beard. Thentake scales and divide the hair you have cut off.	1 Hijo de hombre, toma mi espada afilada, úsala como navaja de afeitar y pásala por tu cabeza y por tu barba; después toma una balanza y divide en partes el pelo que hayas cortado.
2 Burn one-third inside the city, while the days of the siege are working themselves out. Then takeanother third and chop it up with the sword all round the city. The last third you are to scatter to the wind, while Iunsheathe the sword behind them.	2 Una tercera parte, la quemarás en medio de la ciudad, cuando se cumplan los días del asedio: la otra tercera parte, la cortarás con la espada, alrededor de toda la ciudad; y la tercera parte restante, la esparcirás al viento –y yo desenvainaré la espada detrás de ellos–.
3 Also take a few hairs and tie them up in the folds of your cloak;	3 De esta última parte, tomarás una pequeña cantidad y la recogerás en tu manto.
4 and of these again take a few, and throw them on the fire and burn them. From them fire will come onthe whole House of Israel.	4 Y de allí mismo, recogerás unos pocos cabellos, los arrojarás al fuego y los quemarás. De allí saldrá fuego sobre todo Israel.
5 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "This is Jerusalem, which I have placed in the middle of the nations,surrounded with foreign countries.	5 Así habla el Señor: Esta es la ciudad de Jerusalén. Yo le había puesto en medio de las naciones, con otro países a su alrededor.
6 She has rebelled more perversely against my observances than the nations have, and against my lawsthan the surrounding countries have; for they have rejected my observances and not kept my laws."	6 Pero ella se rebeló contra mis leyes con una maldad mayor que la de las naciones, y contra mis preceptos, más que los países que la rodean. Sí, han despreciado mis leyes y no han seguido mis preceptos.
7 'Therefore, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Because your disorders are worse than those of the nationsround you, since you do not keep my laws or respect my observances, and since you do not respect even theobservances of the surrounding nations,	7 Por eso, así habla el Señor: Porque ustedes han sido más rebeldes que las naciones que los rodean y no han seguido mis preceptos, porque no han practicado mis leyes y ni siquiera han procedido según las costumbres de las naciones que los rodean,
8 very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I, too, am against you and shal execute my judgements on youfor the nations to see.	8 por eso, así habla el Señor: Yo también me pongo contra ti y haré justicia a la vista de todas las naciones:
9 Because of al your loathsome practices I shal do such things as I have never done before, nor shallever do again.	9 haré contigo lo que nunca hice ni haré jamás, a causa de todas tus abominaciones.
10 Those of you who are parents wil eat their children, and children wil eat their parents. I shall executejudgement on you and disperse what remains of you to the winds.	10 Por eso, los padres comerán a sus hijos, y los hijos comerán a sus padres; te infligiré justos castigos y dispersaré a todos los vientos todo lo que reste de ti.
11 For, as I live -- declares Lord Yahweh -- as sure as you have defiled my sanctuary with al your horrorsand all your loathsome practices, so I too shal reject you without a glance of pity, I shal not spare you.	11 Por eso, juro por mi vida –oráculo del Señor–: por haber contaminado mi Santuario con todos tus horrores y todas tus abominaciones, también yo te arrasaré, sin una mirada de piedad y sin compadecerme.
12 A third of your citizens wil die of plague or starve to death inside you; a third wil fall by the swordround you; and a third I shal scatter to the winds, unsheathing the sword behind them.	12 Una tercera parte de tu pueblo morirá por la peste y perecerá de hambre en medio de ti; la otra tercera parte caerá al filo de la espada en tus alrededores; y a la tercera parte restante, la dispersaré a todos los vientos y desenvainaré la espada detrás de ellos.
13 I shal sate my anger and bring my fury to rest on them until I am avenged; and when I have sated myfury on them, then they wil know that I, Yahweh, spoke out of jealousy for you.	13 Desahogaré mi ira, saciaré mi furor contra ellos y me vengaré; y cuando haya desahogado mi furor contra ellos, sabrán que yo, el Señor, he hablado llevado por mis celos.
14 Yes, I shal reduce you to a ruin, an object of derision to the surrounding nations, in the eyes of al whopass by.	14 Te convertiré en ruinas y en oprobio entre las naciones que te rodean, a los ojos de todos los que pasen.
15 You will be an object of derision and insults, an example, an object of amazement to the surroundingnations, when I execute judgement on you in furious anger and furious punishments. I, Yahweh, have spoken.	15 Serás oprobio y objeto de ultraje, escarmiento y motivo de horror para las naciones que te rodean, cuando yo te inflija justos castigos con ira, con indignación y con violentos reproches. Yo, el Señor, he hablado.
16 On them I shal send the deadly arrows of famine, which wil destroy you -- for I shall send them todestroy you; then I shall make the famine worse and cut off your food supply.	16 Y cuando arroje contra ustedes las flechas siniestras del hambre, las flechas exterminadoras que enviará para destruirlos, yo les haré pasar hambre y acabaré con las reservas de pan.
17 I shal send famine and wild animals on you to rob you of your children; plague and bloodshed wilsweep through you, and I shal bring the sword down on you. I, Yahweh, have spoken." '	17 Enviaré contra ustedes el hambre y las bestias feroces, y ellas te privaran de tus hijos; pasarán por ti la peste y la sangre, y haré venir la espada contra ti. Yo, el Señor, he hablado.
