Ezekiel 47

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 He brought me back to the entrance of the Temple, where a stream flowed eastwards from under theTemple threshold, for the Temple faced east. The water flowed from under the right side of the Temple, south ofthe altar.	1 El hombre me hizo volver a la entrada de la Casa, y vi que salía agua por debajo del umbral de la Casa, en dirección al oriente, porque la fachada de la Casa miraba hacia el oriente. El agua descendía por debajo del costado derecho de la Casa, al sur del Altar.
2 He took me out by the north gate and led me right round outside as far as the outer east gate where the water flowed out on the right-hand side.	2 Luego me sacó por el camino de la puerta septentrional, y me hizo dar la vuelta por un camino exterior, hasta la puerta exterior que miraba hacia el oriente. Allí vi que el agua fluía por el costado derecho.
3 The man went off to the east holding his measuring line and measured off a thousand cubits; he thenmade me wade across the stream; the water reached my ankles.	3 Cuando el hombre salió hacia el este, tenía una cuerda en la mano. Midió quinientos metros y me hizo caminar a través del agua, que me llegó a los tobillos.
4 He measured off another thousand and made me wade across the stream again; the water reachedmy knees. He measured off another thousand and made me wade across the stream again; the water reachedmy waist.	4 Midió otros quinientos metros y me hizo caminar a través del agua, que me llegó a las rodillas. Midió otros quinientos metros y me hizo caminar a través del agua, que me llegó a la cintura.
5 He measured off another thousand; it was now a river which I could not cross; the stream had swol enand was now deep water, a river impossible to cross.	5 Luego midió otros quinientos metros, y ya era un torrente que no pude atravesar, porque el agua había crecido: era un agua donde había que nadar, un torrente intransitable.
6 He then said, 'Do you see, son of man?' He then took me and brought me back to the bank on theriver.	6 El hombre me dijo: «¿Has visto, hijo de hombre?», y me hizo volver a la orilla del torrente.
7 Now, when I reached it, I saw an enormous number of trees on each bank of the river.	7 Al volver, vi que a la orilla del torrente, de uno y otro lado, había una inmensa arboleda.
8 He said, 'This water flows east down to the Arabah and to the sea; and flowing into the sea it makesits waters wholesome.	8 Entonces me dijo: «Estas aguas fluyen hacia el sector oriental, bajan hasta la estepa y van a desembocar en el Mar. Se las hace salir hasta el Mar, para que sus aguas sean saneadas.
9 Wherever the river flows, all living creatures teeming in it wil live. Fish wil be very plentiful, forwherever the water goes it brings health, and life teems wherever the river flows.	9 Hasta donde llegue el torrente, tendrán vida todos los seres vivientes que se mueven por el suelo y habrá peces en abundancia. Porque cuando esta agua llegue hasta el Mar, sus aguas quedarán saneadas, y habrá vida en todas parte adonde llegue el torrente.
10 There will be fishermen on its banks. Fishing nets will be spread from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim. Thespecies of fish wil be the same as the fish of the Great Sea.	10 Los pescadores se apostarán a su orilla: desde Engadí hasta En Eglaim habrá lugares para tender las redes. Allí habrá tantas clases de peces como en el Mar Grande, y serán muy numerosos.
11 The marshes and lagoons, however, wil not become wholesome, but wil remain salt.	11 Pero sus charcos y sus lagunas no serán saneados, sino que quedarán como salinas.
12 Along the river, on either bank, will grow every kind of fruit tree with leaves that never wither and fruitthat never fails; they wil bear new fruit every month, because this water comes from the sanctuary. And theirfruit wil be good to eat and the leaves medicinal.'	12 Al borde del torrente, sobre sus dos orillas, crecerán árboles frutales de todas las especies. No se marchitarán sus hojas ni se agotarán sus frutos, y todos los meses producirán nuevos frutos, porque el agua sale del Santuario. Sus frutos servirán de alimento y sus hojas de remedio».
13 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "This wil be the territory which you must distribute among the twelvetribes of Israel, with two portions for Joseph.	13 Así habla el Señor: Esta es la frontera del país que ustedes se repartirán como herencia, entre las doce tribus de Israel, asignando dos partes a José.
14 You wil each have a fair share of it, since I swore to your fathers that I would give it to them, and thiscountry now falls to you as your heritage.	14 Lo heredarán todos por igual, porque yo juré con la mano en alto que se lo daría a sus padres, y por eso este país le corresponde a ustedes como herencia.
15 These wil be the frontiers of the country. On the north, from the Great Sea, the road from Hethlon tothe Pass of Hamath, Zedad,	15 La frontera del país es la siguiente: por el lado septentrional, desde el Mar Grande, en dirección a Jetlón, hasta la Entrada de Jamat: Sedal,
16 Berothah, Sibraim lying between the territories of Damascus and Hamath, to Hazer-ha-Tikon on theborders of Hauran;	16 Berotá, Sibraim –que está entre el territorio de Damasco y el territorio de Jamat– y Jaser Ticón, hacia el territorio de Jaurán.
17 the frontier wil extend from the sea to Hazer-Enon, with the territory of Damascus and the territory ofHamath to the north; that wil be the northern frontier.	17 La frontera irá desde el mar hasta Jasar Enán, quedando al norte el territorio de Damasco y también el de Jamat: este es el lado septentrional.
18 On the east, the Jordan wil serve as frontier between Hauran and Damascus, between Gilead andIsrael, down to the Eastern Sea as far as Tamar; that wil be the eastern frontier.	18 Por el lado orienta, entre Jaurán y Damasco, entre Galaad y el país de Israel, la frontera estará delimitada por el Jordán, hasta el mar oriental, en dirección a Tamar: este es el lado oriental.
19 On the south, from Tamar southward to the Waters of Meribah in Kadesh, to the Wadi and the GreatSea; that wil be the southern frontier.	19 Por el lado meridional, hacia el sur, la frontera irá desde Tamar hasta las aguas de Meribá de Cades, hacia el Torrente, hasta el Mar Grande: este es el lado meridional, hacia el sur.
20 And to the west, the Great Sea wil serve as frontier up to the point opposite the Pass of Hamath; thatwil be the western frontier.	20 Por el lado occidental, el Mar Grande servirá de frontera hasta enfrente de la Entrada de Jamat: este es el lado occidental.
21 You must distribute this country among yourselves, among the tribes of Israel.	21 Ustedes se repartirán el país según las tribus de Israel,
22 You must distribute it as a heritage for yourselves and the aliens settled among you who havefathered children among you, since you must treat them as citizens of Israel. They must draw lots for theirheritage with you, among the tribes of Israel.	22 de la siguiente manera lo sortearán como herencia para ustedes y para los extranjeros que residan y tengan hijos en medio de ustedes, porque a ellos deberán tratarlos como a un israelita de nacimiento: así ellos recibirán una herencia con ustedes, entre las tribus de Israel.
23 You wil give the alien his heritage in the tribe where he has settled -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	23 En la tribu donde resida el extranjero, allí le darán su herencia –oráculo del Señor–.
