Ezekiel 30

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Mi giunse la parola del Signore:
2 'Son of man, prophesy and say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Howl: Disaster day!	2 "Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza e di': Così dice il Signore Dio: Gridate: "Ah, quel giorno!".
3 For the day is near, the day of Yahweh is near; it wil be a day dark with cloud, a time of doom for thenations.	3 Sì, il giorno è vicino! E' vicino il giorno del Signore, giorno nuvoloso, sarà il giorno delle genti.
4 "The sword wil come on Egypt, and anguish on the country of Cush when the slaughtered fal inEgypt, when her riches are carried away and her foundations are destroyed.	4 Verrà la spada sull'Egitto, ci sarà agitazione in Etiopia quando cadranno i cadaveri in Egitto, gli toglieranno la sua ricchezza e le fondamenta saranno divelte.

6 "Yahweh says this: "The supports of Egypt wil fall; the pride of her strength wil crumble; they will fal by the sword from Migdol to Syene -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	6 Così dice il Signore: Cadranno i protettori dell'Egitto, tramonta l'arroganza della sua forza; da Migdòl ad Assuan vi cadranno di spada. Oracolo del Signore Dio.
7 "They will be the most desolate of desolate countries, and its cities the most ruined of cities.	7 Essi saranno desolati tra i paesi più desolati, e le sue città saranno tra le più devastate.

10 The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal destroy the huge population of Egypt at the hand ofNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.	10 Così dice il Signore Dio: "Farò cessare la tumultuosa potenza d'Egitto per mano di Nabucodònosor, re di Babilonia.
11 He and his people, the most barbarous of nations, wil be brought to ravage the country. They wildraw the sword against Egypt and fil the country with corpses.	11 Egli, con il suo popolo, le peggiori delle genti, sono fatti venire per devastare il paese: snuderanno le loro spade contro l'Egitto, riempiranno la terra di cadaveri.
12 I shal dry up the courses of the Nile and sel the country to the wicked. I shal lay the whole countrywaste and everything in it, at the hand of foreigners. I, Yahweh, have spoken.	12 Renderò il tuo delta una devastazione, cederò il paese ai malvagi, renderò desolato il paese e chi vi abita per mano di stranieri. Io, il Signore, ho parlato".
13 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall destroy the foul idols and take the false gods away from Noph.Egypt wil be left without a ruler. I shall spread fear through Egypt.	13 Così dice il Signore Dio: "Farò sparire gli idoli, farò cessare i vani culti di Menfi, non sorgerà mai più principe dal paese d'Egitto. Infonderò il timore in Egitto.
14 I shal lay Pathros waste, set Zoan on fire, inflict my punishments on No.	14 Renderò desolata Patros, darò fuoco a Tanis, eseguirò la condanna su Tebe.
15 I shal vent my fury on Sin, the bastion of Egypt; I shall wipe out the throngs of No.	15 Riverserò il mio furore su Sin, fortezza dell'Egitto, e reciderò la tumultuosa potenza di Tebe.
16 I shal set fire to Egypt; Sin will be seized with convulsions; a breach wil be opened at No and thewaters flood out.	16 Darò fuoco all'Egitto, si contorcerà Sin, Tebe finirà lacerata, per Menfi saranno amari quei giorni.
17 The young men of On and Pi-Beseth wil fal by the sword and the cities themselves go into captivity.	17 I giovani di Eliòpoli e Bubàste cadranno di spada ed esse andranno in schiavitù.
18 At Tahpanhes day will turn to darkness when I shatter the sceptres of Egypt there, when the pride ofher strength ceases. A cloud will cover Egypt itself, and its daughters will go into captivity.	18 A Tafni il giorno si oscurerà quando vi spezzerò le verghe dell'Egitto. Farò cessare l'arroganza della sua forza; una nube la ricoprirà e le figlie finiranno in schiavitù.
19 Such wil be the punishments I inflict on Egypt. And they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	19 Farò giustizia contro l'Egitto, riconosceranno che io sono il Signore".
20 In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	20 Nell'anno undicesimo, il sette del primo mese, mi giunse la parola del Signore:
21 'Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; you can see that no one has dressedhis wound by applying remedies to it, by bandaging it and by dressing it, to make it strong enough to wield thesword.	21 "Figlio dell'uomo: ho spezzato il braccio del faraone, re d'Egitto; non è fasciato, nessuno che lo medichi, gli metta bende, lo fasci e lo rinvigorisca e così riafferri la spada.
22 This being so, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Look, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt; I shal breakhis arms, the sound one and the broken one, and make the sword drop from his hand.	22 Perciò così dice il Signore Dio: Questa volta al faraone, re d'Egitto, spezzerò tutte e due le braccia, quello sano e quello già spezzato, e gli farò cadere di mano la spada.
23 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries.	23 Disseminerò gli Egiziani tra le genti, li disperderò per il mondo.
24 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand. I shal breakPharaoh's arms and, confronted with his enemy, he wil groan like a dying man.	24 Rinvigorirò invece le braccia del re di Babilonia e gli metterò in mano la mia spada. Spezzerò le braccia del faraone e gemerà ferito al suo cospetto.
25 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh wil fall. And they wilknow that I am Yahweh, when I put my sword into the hands of the king of Babylon and he wields it againstEgypt.	25 Mentre rinvigorirò le braccia del re di Babilonia, le braccia del faraone verranno meno. Riconosceranno che io sono il Signore, quando darò la mia spada in mano al re di Babilonia ed egli la stenderà contro il paese d'Egitto.
26 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries; and they wil know that Iam Yahweh." '	26 Quando disseminerò gli Egiziani tra le genti e li disperderò per il mondo, riconosceranno che io sono il Signore".
