Jeremiah 30

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, as follows,	1 LA parola che fu dal Signore indirizzata a Geremia, dicendo:
2 'Yahweh, God of Israel, says this, "Write for yourself in a book al the words I have spoken to you.	2 Così ha detto il Signore, l’Iddio d’Israele: Scriviti in un libro tutte le parole che io ti ho dette.
3 For look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shal bring back the captives of my peopleIsrael (and Judah), Yahweh says. I shall make them come back and take possession of the country I gave totheir ancestors." '	3 Perciocchè, ecco, i giorni vengono, dice il Signore, che io ritrarrò di cattività il mio popolo, Israele e Giuda, ha detto il Signore; e li ricondurrò nel paese, che io diedi ai padri loro, ed essi lo possederanno.
4 These are the words Yahweh spoke about Israel (and Judah):	4 Or queste sono le parole, che il Signore ha pronunziate intorno ad Israele, ed a Giuda.
5 Yahweh says this: We have heard a cry of panic, of terror, not of peace.	5 Perciocchè il Signore ha detto così: Noi abbiamo udito un grido di terrore; spavento, e niuna pace.
6 Now ask and see: can a man bear children? Then why do I see each man with his hands on his loinslike a woman in labour? Why has every face grown pale?	6 Deh! domandate, e vedete se un maschio partorisce; perchè dunque ho io veduto ogni uomo con le mani in su i lombi, come una donna che partorisce? e perchè son tutte le facce cangiate, e divenute pallide?
7 Disaster! This is the great day, no other like it: a time of distress for Jacob, though he will be savedfrom it.	7 Ohimè lasso! quant’è pur grande quel giorno! non ne fu giammai alcun pari; egli è il tempo della distretta a Giacobbe; ma pure egli ne sarà salvato.
8 (That day, Yahweh Sabaoth declares, I shal break the yoke now on your neck and snap your chains;and foreigners wil enslave you no more,	8 Ed avverrà in quel giorno, dice il Signor degli eserciti, che io spezzerò il giogo di colui d’in sul tuo collo, e romperò i tuoi legami; e gli stranieri non ti terranno più in servitù.
9 but Israel and Judah wil serve Yahweh their God, and David their king whom I shal raise up for them.)	9 Anzi serviranno al Signore Iddio loro, e a Davide, lor re, che io susciterò loro
10 So do not be afraid, my servant Jacob, Yahweh declares, Israel, do not be alarmed: for look, I shalrescue you from distant countries and your descendants from the country where they are captive. Jacob wilreturn and be at peace, secure, with no one to trouble him.	10 Tu adunque, o Giacobbe, mio servitore, non temere, dice il Signore; e non ispaventarti, o Israele; perciocchè, ecco, io ti salverò di lontano paese, e la tua progenie dal paese della sua cattività; e Giacobbe ritornerà, e sarà in riposo, e tranquillità; e non vi sarà alcuno che lo spaventi.
11 For I am with you to save you, Yahweh declares, I shal make an end of all the nations where I havedriven you, but I shall not make an end of you, only discipline you in moderation, not to let you go quiteunpunished.	11 Perciocchè io son teco, dice il Signore, per salvarti; e farò una finale esecuzione sopra tutte le genti, dove ti avrò disperso; ma sopra te non farò una finale esecuzione; anzi ti castigherò moderatamente; ma pur non ti lascerò del tutto impunito.
12 Yes, Yahweh says this: Your wound is incurable, your injury past healing.	12 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signore: Il tuo fiaccamento è senza rimedio, la tua piaga è dolorosa.
13 There is no one to plead your cause; for an ulcer there are remedies, but for you no cure at al .	13 Non vi è alcuno che prenda in mano la tua causa, per guarir la tua piaga; tu non hai alcuni medicamenti per risaldarla.
14 Al your lovers have forgotten you, they look for you no more. Yes, I have struck you as an enemystrikes, with cruel punishment (because of your great guilt and countless sins).	14 Tutti i tuoi amanti ti hanno dimenticata, non ti ricercano; perciocchè io ti ho percossa d’una battitura da nemico, d’un gastigamento da crudele; per la grandezza della tua iniquità, perchè i tuoi peccati sono accresciuti.
15 Why cry out because of your wound? Your pain is incurable! Because of your great guilt andcountless sins, I have treated you like this.	15 Perchè gridi per lo tuo fiaccamento? la tua doglia è insanabile. Io ti ho fatte queste cose per la grandezza della tua iniquità, perchè i tuoi peccati sono accresciuti.
16 But al those who devoured you wil be devoured, al your enemies, al , go into captivity, those whodespoiled you will be despoiled, and al who pillaged you be pil aged.	16 Ma pure, tutti quelli che ti divorano saranno divorati, e tutti i tuoi nemici andranno in cattività, e quelli che ti spogliano saranno spogliati, e darò in preda tutti quelli che ti predano.
17 For I shal restore you to health and heal your wounds, Yahweh declares, you who used to be called'Outcast', 'Zion for whom no one cares'.	17 Perciocchè io risalderò la tua piaga, e ti guarirò delle tue ferite, dice il Signore; perciocchè ti hanno chiamata: Scacciata, Sion che niuno ricerca
18 Yahweh says this: Look, I shal restore the tents of Jacob and take pity on his dwel ings: the town wilbe rebuilt on its mound, the stronghold where it ought to stand.	18 Così ha detto il Signore: Ecco, io ritrarrò di cattività i tabernacoli di Giacobbe, ed avrò pietà de’ suoi abitacoli; e la città sarà riedificata in sul suo colmo, e il Tempio sarà posto secondo i suoi ordini.
19 From them wil come thanksgiving and shouts of joy. I shal make them increase, they wil notdecrease; I shal make them honoured, no more to be humbled.	19 E di quelli uscirà lode, e voce d’uomini festeggianti; ed io li farò moltiplicare, e non iscemeranno; e li accrescerò, e non diminuiranno.
20 Their sons wil be as once they were, their community fixed firmly before me, and I shal punish alltheir oppressors.	20 E i suoi figliuoli saranno come anticamente, e la sua raunanza sarà stabilita dinanzi a me; e farò punizione di tutti quelli che l’oppressano.
21 Their prince wil be one of their own, their ruler come from their own people, and I shal permit him toapproach me freely; for who, otherwise, would be so bold as to approach me, Yahweh demands?	21 E colui che avrà autorità sopra lui sarà di lui stesso, e colui che signoreggerà sopra lui uscirà del mezzo di lui; ed io lo farò accostare, ed egli verrà a me; perciocchè chi è colui che pieghi dolcemente il cuor suo, per accostarsi a me? dice il Signore.
22 You wil be my people and I shal be your God.	22 E voi mi sarete popolo, ed io vi sarò Dio.
23 Look, Yahweh's hurricane, his wrath, bursts out, a roaring hurricane, to burst on the heads of thewicked;	23 Ecco il turbo del Signore, l’ira è uscita fuori, la tempesta si accoglie; caderà sopra il capo degli empi.
24 Yahweh's burning anger wil not turn aside until he has performed, has carried out, what he has inmind. In the final days, you wil understand this.	24 L’ardor dell’ira del Signore non si racqueterà, finchè egli non abbia eseguiti e messi ad effetto i pensieri del cuor suo; alla fin de’ giorni voi intenderete la cosa
