3 Yahweh then said, 'As my servant Isaiah has been walking about naked and barefoot for the last threeyears as a sign and portent for Egypt and Cush,	3 E disse il Signore: Come il mio servo Isaia é andato ignudo, e scalzo in segno, e predizione di tre anni contro l'Egitto, e contro l'Etiopia,
4 so the king of Assyria wil lead the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked andbarefoot, their buttocks bared, to the shame of Egypt.	4 Così il re degli Assiri condurrà via la turba de' prigionieri, e di esuli dall'Egitto, e dall'Etiopia, giovani, e vecchj, ignuda, e scalza, scoperte le parti oscene a scorno dell'Egitto.
5 Then they wil be afraid and ashamed of Cush their hope and Egypt their pride,	5 E saranno sbigottiti, e si vergogneranno di aver posta la loro speranza nell'Etiopia, e la loro gloria nell'Egitto.
6 and the inhabitants of this coast will say on that day, "Look what has happened to our hope, to those towhom we fled for help, to escape from the king of Assyria. How are we going to escape?" '	6 Egli abitanti di quell'isola diranno in quel giorno: Ecco adunque que', che eran nostra speranza, a' quali ricorremmo per aiuto, affinchè ci liberassero dal re degli Assiri: e come potremo scamparne noi?
