2 How long must I nurse rebel ion in my soul, sorrow in my heart day and night? How long is the enemyto domineer over me?	2 Fino a quando, o Signore, mi terrai in oblìo? Per sempre? Fino a quando terrai il tuo volto nascosto da me?
3 Look down, answer me, Yahweh my God! Give light to my eyes or I shal fal into the sleep of death.	3 Fino a quando volgerò pensieri nella mia anima, tristezza nel mio cuore tutto il giorno? Fino a quando s'ergerà il nemico su di me?
4 Or my foe will boast, 'I have overpowered him,' and my enemy have the joy of seeing me stumble.	4 Guarda, rispondimi, o Signore mio Dio, da' luce ai miei occhi perché non dorma il sonno della morte,
5 As for me, I trust in your faithful love, Yahweh. Let my heart delight in your saving help, let me sing toYahweh for his generosity to me, let me sing to the name of Yahweh the Most High!	5 perché non dica il mio nemico: "L'ho sopraffatto", e i miei avversari si rallegrino al mio vacillare.
	6 Ma io nella tua misericordia confido; gioisca il mio cuore nella tua salvezza, e canti al Signore che mi ha beneficato.
