1 "To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write this: " 'The one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks in the midst of the seven gold lampstands says this:	1 Al Angel de la Iglesia de Efeso, escribe: Esto dice el que tiene las siete estrellas en su mano derecha, el que camina entre los siete candeleros de oro.
2 "I know your works, your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot tolerate the wicked; you have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not, and discovered that they are impostors.	2 Conozco tu conducta: tus fatigas y paciencia; y que no puedes soportar a los malvados y que pusiste a prueba a los que se llaman apóstoles sin serlo y descubriste su engaño.
3 Moreover, you have endurance and have suffered for my name, and you have not grown weary.	3 Tienes paciencia: y has sufrido por mi nombre sin desfallecer.
4 Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.	4 Pero tengo contra ti que has perdido tu amor de antes.
5 Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.	5 Date cuenta, pues, de dónde has caído, arrepiéntete y vuelve a tu conducta primera. Si no, iré donde ti y cambiaré de su lugar tu candelero, si no te arrepientes.
6 But you have this in your favor: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.	6 Tienes en cambio a tu favor que detestas el proceder de los nicolaítas, que yo también detesto.
7 " '"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the victor I will give the right to eat from the tree of life that is in the garden of God."'	7 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias: al vencedor le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, que está en el Paraíso de Dios.
8 "To the angel of the church in Smyrna, write this: " 'The first and the last, who once died but came to life, says this:	8 Al Angel de la Iglesia de Esmirna escribe: Esto dice el Primero y el Ultimo, el que estuvo muerto y revivió.
9 "I know your tribulation and poverty, but you are rich. I know the slander of those who claim to be Jews and are not, but rather are members of the assembly of Satan.	9 Conozco tu tribulación y tu pobreza - aunque eres rico - y las calumnias de los que se llaman judíos sin serlo y son en realidad una sinagoga de Satanás.
10 Do not be afraid of anything that you are going to suffer. Indeed, the devil will throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will face an ordeal for ten days. Remain faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.	10 No temas por lo que vas a sufrir: el Diablo va a meter a algunos de vosotros en la cárcel para que seáis tentados, y sufriréis una tribulación de diez días. Manténte fiel hasta la muerte y te daré la corona de la vida.
11 " '"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The victor shall not be harmed by the second death."'	11 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias: el vencedor no sufrirá daño de la muerte segunda.
12 "To the angel of the church in Pergamum, write this: " 'The one with the sharp two-edged sword says this:	12 Al Angel de la Iglesia de Pérgamo escribe: Esto dice el que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos.
13 "I know that you live where Satan's throne is, and yet you hold fast to my name and have not denied your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was martyred among you, where Satan lives.	13 Sé dónde vives: donde está el trono de Satanás. Eres fiel a mi nombre y no has renegado de mi fe, ni siquiera en los días de Antipas, mi testigo fiel, que fue muerto entre vosotros, ahí donde habita Satanás.
14 Yet I have a few things against you. You have some people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who instructed Balak to put a stumbling block before the Israelites: to eat food sacrificed to idols and to play the harlot.	14 Pero tengo alguna cosa contra ti: mantienes ahí algunos que sostienen la doctrina de Balaam, que enseñaba a Balaq a poner tropiezos a los hijos de Israel para que comieran carnes inmoladas a los ídolos y fornicaran.
15 Likewise, you also have some people who hold to the teaching of (the) Nicolaitans.	15 Así tú también mantienes algunos que sostienen la doctrina de los nicolaítas.
16 Therefore, repent. Otherwise, I will come to you quickly and wage war against them with the sword of my mouth.	16 Arrepiéntete, pues; si no, iré pronto donde ti y lucharé contra ésos con la espada de mi boca.
17 " '"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the victor I shall give some of the hidden manna; I shall also give a white amulet upon which is inscribed a new name, which no one knows except the one who receives it."'	17 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias: al vencedor le daré maná escondido; y le daré también una piedrecita blanca, y, grabado en la piedrecita, un nombre nuevo que nadie conoce, sino el que lo recibe.
18 "To the angel of the church in Thyatira, write this: " 'The Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like polished brass, says this:	18 Escribe al Angel de la Iglesia de Tiatira: Esto dice el Hijo de Dios, cuyos ojos son como llama de fuego y cuyos pies parecen de metal precioso.
19 "I know your works, your love, faith, service, and endurance, and that your last works are greater than the first.	19 Conozco tu conducta: tu caridad, tu fe, tu espíritu de servicio, tu paciencia; tus obras últimas sobrepujan a las primeras.
20 Yet I hold this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, who teaches and misleads my servants to play the harlot and to eat food sacrificed to idols.	20 Pero tengo contra ti que toleras a Jezabel, esa mujer que se llama profetisa y está enseñando y engañando a mis siervos para que forniquen y coman carne inmolada a los ídolos.
21 I have given her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her harlotry.	21 Le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta, pero no quiere arrepentirse de su fornicación.
22 So I will cast her on a sickbed and plunge those who commit adultery with her into intense suffering unless they repent of her works.	22 Mira, a ella voy a arrojarla al lecho del dolor, y a los que adulteran con ella, a una gran tribulación, si no se arrepienten de sus obras.
23 I will also put her children to death. Thus shall all the churches come to know that I am the searcher of hearts and minds and that I will give each of you what your works deserve.	23 Y a sus hijos, los voy a herir de muerte: así sabrán todas las Iglesias que yo soy el que sondea los riñones y los corazones, y yo os daré a cada uno según vuestras obras.
24 But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not uphold this teaching and know nothing of the so-called deep secrets of Satan: on you I will place no further burden,	24 Pero a vosotros, a los demás de Tiatira, que no compartís esa doctrina, que no conocéis «las profundidades de Satanás», como ellos dicen, os digo: No os impongo ninguna otra carga;
25 except that you must hold fast to what you have until I come.	25 sólo que mantengáis firmemente hasta mi vuelta lo que ya tenéis.
26 " '"To the victor, who keeps to my ways until the end, I will give authority over the nations.	26 Al vencedor, al que se mantenga fiel a mis obras hasta el fin, le daré poder sobre las naciones:
27 He will rule them with an iron rod. Like clay vessels will they be smashed,	27 las regirá con cetro de hierro, como se quebrantan las piezas de arcilla.
28 just as I received authority from my Father. And to him I will give the morning star.	28 Yo también lo he recibido de mi Padre. Y le daré el Lucero del alba.
29 " '"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'	29 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias.
