1 Gather, gather yourselves together, O nation without shame!	1 Reuníos, congregaos, gente sin vergüenza,
2 Before you are driven away, like chaff that passes on; Before there comes upon you the blazing anger of the LORD: Before there comes upon you the day of the LORD'S anger.	2 antes que seáis aventados como el tamo que en un día pasa, antes que caiga sobre vosotros el ardor de la cólera de Yahveh, (antes que caiga sobre vosotros el Día de la cólera de Yahveh).
3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth, who have observed his law; Seek justice, seek humility; perhaps you may be sheltered on the day of the LORD'S anger.	3 Buscad a Yahveh, vosotros todos, humildes de la tierra, que cumplís sus normas; buscad la justicia, buscad la humildad; quizá encontréis cobijo el Día de la cólera de Yahveh.
4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon shall be a waste, Ashdod they shall drive out at midday, and Ekron shall be uprooted.	4 Pues Gaza quedará en desamparo, y Ascalón en desolación, a Asdod se la expulsará en pleno mediodía, y Ecrón será arrancada de raíz.
5 Woe to you who dwell by the seacoast, to the Cretan folk! The word of the LORD is against you, I will humble you, land of the Philistines, and leave you to perish without an inhabitant!	5 ¡Ay de los habitantes de la liga del mar, la nación de los kereteos! Palabra de Yahveh contra vosotros: «Canaán, tierra de los filisteos, te destruiré, te dejaré sin habitantes;
6 The coastland of the Cretans shall become fields for shepherds, and folds for flocks.	6 quedará la liga del mar convertida en pastizales, en pradera de pastores, en apriscos de ovejas».
7 The coast shall belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; by the sea they shall pasture. In the houses of Ashkelon at evening they shall couch their flocks, For the LORD their God shall visit them, and bring about their restoration.	7 Y será la liga del mar para el Resto de la casa de Judá: allí llevarán a pacer, en las casas de Ascalón reposarán a la tarde, cuando los visite Yahveh su Dios, y los vuelva de su cautiverio.
8 I have heard the revilings uttered by Moab, and the insults of the Ammonites, When they reviled my people and made boasts against their territory.	8 He oído los insultos de Moab y los denuestos de los hijos de Ammón, cuando insultaron a mi pueblo, y se engrandecieron a costa de su territorio.
9 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Moab shall become like Sodom, the land of Ammon like Gomorrah: A field of nettles and a salt pit and a waste forever. The remnant of my people shall plunder them, the survivors of my nation dispossess them.	9 Por eso, ¡por mi vida - oráculo de Yahveh Sebaot, Dios de Israel - que Moab quedará como Sodoma, y los habitantes de Ammón como Gomorra: cardizal, mina de sal, desolación para siempre! El Resto de mi pueblo los saqueará, lo que quede de mi nación los heredará.
10 Such shall be the requital of their pride, because they reviled and boasted against the people of the LORD of hosts.	10 Este será el precio de su orgullo, por haber insultado, por haberse engrandecido a costa del pueblo de Yahveh Sebaot.
11 The LORD shall inspire them with fear when he makes all the gods of earth to waste away; Then, each from its own place, all the coastlands of the nations shall adore him.	11 Terrible será Yahveh contra ellos, cuando enerve a todos los dioses de la tierra, y se postren ante él, cada una en su lugar, todas las islas de las naciones.
12 You too, O Cushites, shall be slain by the sword of the LORD.	12 También vosotros, etíopes: «Víctimas de mi espada serán ellos».
13 He will stretch out his hand against the north, to destroy Assyria; He will make Nineveh a waste, dry as the desert.	13 El extenderá su mano contra el norte, destruirá a Asur, y dejará a Nínive en desolación, árida como el desierto.
14 In her midst shall settle in droves all the wild life of the hollows; The screech owl and the desert owl shall roost in her columns; Their call shall resound from the window, the raven's croak from the doorway.	14 Se tumbarán en medio de ella los rebaños, toda suerte de animales: hasta el pelícano, hasta el erizo, pasarán la noche entre sus capiteles. El búho cantará en la ventana, y el cuervo en el umbral, porque el cedro fue arrancado.
15 Is this the exultant city that dwelt secure; That told herself, "There is no other than I!" How has she become a waste, a lair for wild beasts? Whoever passes by her hisses, and shakes his fist!	15 Tal será la ciudad alegre que reposaba en seguridad, la que decía en su corazón: «¡Yo, y nadie más!» ¡Cómo ha quedado en desolación, en guarida de animales! Todo el que pasa junto a ella silba y menea su mano.
