Ezekiel 6

1 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	1 E la parola di Dio si fece a me, dicendo:
2 Son of man, turn toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them:	2 O figliuolo d'uomo, poni la tua faccia ai monti d' Israel, e profeterai a loro.
3 Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. Thus says the Lord GOD (to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys): See, I am bringing a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.	3 E dirai monti d' Israel, udite la parola del Signore Iddio: questo dice lo Signore Iddio a' monti e a' colli: ecco io adducerò sopra voi lo coltello, e dispergerò le vostre alte cose.
4 Your altars shall be laid waste, your incense stands shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain ones before your idols;	4 E disfarò li vostri altari, e le vostre idolatrie si romperanno; li vostri morti gitterò inanzi alli vostri idoli.
5 I will scatter their bones all around your altars.	5 E darò li corpi morti de' figliuoli d' Israel inanzi alle facce delli idoli vostri, e dispergerò le vostre ossa intorno alli vostri altari,
6 In all your dwelling places cities shall be made desolate and high places laid waste, so that your altars will be made desolate and laid waste, your idols broken and removed, and your incense stands smashed to bits.	6 in tutte le vostre abitazioni. Le cittadi saranno deserte, e l'altezze saranno disfatte; e li vostri altari saranno dissipati e rotti; e li vostri idoli cesseranno, e spezzerannosi le case delli idoli, e le vostre opere saranno spente.
7 (The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the LORD.	7 E lo morto in mezzo di voi caderà, e saprete ch' io sono lo Signore.
8 I have warned you.) When some of your people have escaped to other nations from the sword, and have been scattered over the foreign lands,	8 E lascerò in voi quelli che averanno fuggito lo coltello nelle genti, quando io vi averoe dispersi nelle terre.
9 then those who have escaped will remember me among the nations to which they have been exiled, after I have broken their adulterous hearts that turned away from me (and their eyes which lusted after idols). They shall loathe themselves because of their evil deeds, all their abominations.	9 E li vostri liberati si ricordaranno di me nelle genti alle quali sono menati in prigione; però ch' io hoe tritato lo loro cuore, il quale era fornicante e partentesi da me; li loro occhi faceano fornicazione dopo li loro idoli; e a loro medesimi dispiaceranno sopra li mali che feciono in tutte le universe abominazioni sue.
10 Then they shall know that it was not in vain that I, the LORD, threatened to inflict this calamity upon them.	10 E sapranno, ch' io Signore non parlerò indarno per fare a loro questo male.
11 Thus says the Lord GOD: Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and cry "Alas!" because of all the abominations of the house of Israel, for which they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.	11 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: percuoti la tua mano, e percuoti lo tuo piede, e di': guai a tutte l'abominazioni delli rei della casa d'Israel, però che sono stati nutriti per coltello e per fame e per pestilenza.
12 He that is far off shall die of pestilence, he that is near shall fall by the sword, and he that is besieged shall perish by famine; so will I spend my fury upon them.	12 Quello ch' è da lunga, morrà di pestilenza; e quello ch' è presso, morrà di coltello; e chi sarà abbandonato e assediato, morrà di fame; e compierò la mia indignazione in loro.
13 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when their slain shall lie amid their idols, all about their altars, on every high hill and mountaintop, beneath every green tree and leafy oak, wherever they offered appeasing odors to any of their gods.	13 E saprete ch' io sono Iddio, quando saranno morti li vostri nel mezzo de' vostri idoli, nel circuito de' vostri altari, in ogni alto colle, e in tutte le sommità de' monti, e sotto ogni legno di bosco, e sotto ogni quercia fronduta, cioè lo luogo dove accesono lo incenso odorifero alli universi loro idoli.
14 I will stretch out my hand against them, and wherever they live I will make the land a desolate waste, from the desert to Riblah; thus shall they know that I am the LORD.	14 E distenderò la mia mano sopra loro; e la loro terra farò desolata e abbandonata, dal deserto di Deblata, in tutte le loro abitazioni; e sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio.
