Ezekiel 4

1 As for you, son of man, take a clay tablet; lay it in front of you, and draw on it a city (Jerusalem).	1 Tú, hijo de hombre, toma un ladrillo y ponlo delante de ti; grabarás en él una ciudad, Jerusalén,
2 Raise a siege against it: build a tower, lay out a ramp, pitch camps, and set up batteringrams all around.	2 y emprenderás contra ella un asedio: construirás contra ella trincheras, levantarás contra ella terraplenes, emplazarás contra ella campamentos, instalarás contra ella arietes, todo alrededor.
3 Then take an iron griddle and set it up as an iron wall between you and the city. Fix your gaze on it: it shall be in the state of siege, and you shall besiege it. This shall be a sign for the house of Israel.	3 Toma luego una sartén de hierro y colócala como un muro de hierro entre ti y la ciudad. Fijarás tu rostro sobre ella, y quedará en estado de sitio: tú la sitiarás. Es una señal para la casa de Israel.
4 Then you shall lie on your left side, while I place the sins of the house of Israel upon you. As many days as you lie thus, you shall bear their sins.	4 Acuéstate del lado izquierdo y pon sobre ti la culpa de la casa de Israel. Todo el tiempo que estés acostado así, llevarás su culpa.
5 For the years of their sins I allot you the same number of days, three hundred and ninety, during which you will bear the sins of the house of Israel.	5 Yo te he impuesto los años de su culpa en una duración de trescientos noventa días, durante los cuales cargarás con la culpa de la casa de Israel.
6 When you finish this, you are to lie down again, but on your right side, and bear the sins of the house of Judah forty days; one day for each year I have allotted you.	6 Cuando hayas terminado estos últimos, te acostarás otra vez del lado derecho, y llevarás la culpa de la casa de Judá durante cuarenta días. Yo te he impuesto un día por año.
7 Fixing your gaze on the siege of Jerusalem, with bared arm you shall prophesy against it.	7 Después fijarás tu rostro y tu brazo desnudo sobre el asedio de Jerusalén, y profetizarás contra ella.
8 See, I will bind you with cords so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have completed the days of your siege.	8 He aquí que yo te he atado con cuerdas, y no te darás vuelta de un lado a otro hasta que no hayas cumplido los días de tu reclusión.
9 Again, take wheat and barley, and beans and lentils, and millet and spelt; put them in a single vessel and make bread out of them. Eat it for as many days as you lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety.	9 Toma, pues, trigo, cebada, habas, lentejas, mijo, espelta: ponlo en una misma vasija y haz con ello tu pan. Durante todo el tiempo que estés acostado de un lado - trescientos noventa días - comerás de ello.
10 The food you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; each day the same.	10 El alimento que comas será de un peso de veinte siclos por día, que comerás de tal a tal hora.
11 And the water you drink shall be the sixth of a hin by measure; each day the same.	11 También beberás el agua con medida, beberás la sexta parte de un sextario, de tal a tal hora.
12 For your food you must bake barley loaves over human excrement in their sight, said the LORD.	12 Comerás este alimento en forma de galleta de cebada que será cocida, a la vista de ellos, sobre excrementos humanos».
13 Thus the Israelites shall eat their food unclean among the nations where I scatter them.	13 Y dijo Yahveh: «Así comerán los israelitas su alimento impuro en medio de las naciones donde yo los arrojaré».
14 "Oh no, Lord GOD!" I protested. "Never have I been made unclean, and from my youth till now, never have I eaten carrion flesh or that torn by wild beasts; never has any unclean meat entered my mouth."	14 Yo dije entonces: «¡Ah, Señor Yahveh!, mi alma no está impura. Desde mi infancia hasta el presente jamás he comido bestia muerta o despedazada, ni carne corrompida entró en mi boca».
15 Very well, he replied, I allow you cow's dung in place of human excrement; bake your bread on that.	15 El me dijo: «Bien, en lugar de excrementos humanos te permito usar boñiga de buey para que hagas tu pan encima».
16 Then he said to me: Son of man, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread which they have weighed out anxiously, and they shall drink water which they have measured out fearfully,	16 Luego me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, he aquí que yo voy a destruir la provisión de pan en Jerusalén: comerán el pan con peso y con angustia; y el agua con medida y con ansiedad la beberán,
17 so that, owing to the scarcity of bread and water, everyone shall be filled with terror and waste away because of his sins.	17 porque faltarán el pan y el agua: quedarán pasmados todos juntos y se consumirán por sus culpas».
