Ezekiel 25

1 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	1 וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר
2 Son of man, turn toward the Ammonites and prophesy against them.	2 בֶּן־אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון וְהִנָּבֵא עֲלֵיהֶם
3 Say to the Ammonites: Hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD: Because you cried out your joy over the desecration of my sanctuary, the devastation of the land of Israel, and the exile of the house of Judah,	3 וְאָמַרְתָּ לִבְנֵי עַמֹּון שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר־אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן אָמְרֵךְ הֶאָח אֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁי כִי־נִחָל וְאֶל־אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי נָשַׁמָּה וְאֶל־בֵּית יְהוּדָה כִּי הָלְכוּ בַּגֹּולָה
4 therefore I will deliver you into the possession of the Easterners. They shall set up their encampments among you and pitch their tents; they shall eat your fruits and drink your milk.	4 לָכֵן הִנְנִי נֹתְנָךְ לִבְנֵי־קֶדֶם לְמֹורָשָׁה וְיִשְּׁבוּ טִירֹותֵיהֶם בָּךְ וְנָתְנוּ בָךְ מִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶם הֵמָּה יֹאכְלוּ פִרְיֵךְ וְהֵמָּה יִשְׁתּוּ חֲלָבֵךְ
5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the villages of the Ammonites a resting place for flocks. Thus you shall know that I am the LORD.	5 וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־רַבָּה לִנְוֵה גְמַלִּים וְאֶת־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון לְמִרְבַּץ־צֹאן וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ס
6 For thus says the Lord GOD: Because you clapped your hands and stamped your feet, rejoicing most maliciously in your heart over the land of Israel,	6 כִּי כֹה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן מַחְאֲךָ יָד וְרַקְעֲךָ בְּרָגֶל וַתִּשְׂמַח בְּכָל־שָׁאטְךָ בְּנֶפֶשׁ אֶל־אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל
7 therefore I will stretch out my hand against you. I will make you plunder for the nations, I will cut you off from the peoples, and remove you from the lands. I will destroy you, and thus you shall know that I am the LORD.	7 לָכֵן הִנְנִי נָטִיתִי אֶת־יָדִי עָלֶיךָ וּנְתַתִּיךָ־ [לְבַג כ] (לְבַז ק) לַגֹּויִם וְהִכְרַתִּיךָ מִן־הָעַמִּים וְהַאֲבַדְתִּיךָ מִן־הָאֲרָצֹות אַשְׁמִידְךָ וְיָדַעְתָּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ס
8 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because Moab said, "See! the house of Judah is like all other nations,"	8 כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן אֲמֹר מֹואָב וְשֵׂעִיר הִנֵּה כְּכָל־הַגֹּויִם בֵּית יְהוּדָה
9 therefore I will clear the shoulder of Moab totally of its cities, the jewels of the land: Beth-jesimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim.	9 לָכֵן הִנְנִי פֹתֵחַ אֶת־כֶּתֶף מֹואָב מֵהֶעָרִים מֵעָרָיו מִקָּצֵהוּ צְבִי אֶרֶץ בֵּית הַיְשִׁימֹת בַּעַל מְעֹון [וְקִרְיָתְמָה כ] (וְקִרְיָתָיְמָה׃ ק)
10 I will hand her over, along with the Ammonites, into the possession of the Easterners, that she may not be remembered among the peoples.	10 לִבְנֵי־קֶדֶם עַל־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון וּנְתַתִּיהָ לְמֹורָשָׁה לְמַעַן לֹא־תִזָּכֵר בְּנֵי־עַמֹּון בַּגֹּויִם
11 Thus I will execute judgment upon Moab, that they may know that I am the LORD.	11 וּבְמֹואָב אֶעֱשֶׂה שְׁפָטִים וְיָדְעוּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ס
12 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because Edom has taken vengeance on the house of Judah and has made itself grievously guilty by taking vengeance on them,	12 כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן עֲשֹׂות אֱדֹום בִּנְקֹם נָקָם לְבֵית יְהוּדָה וַיֶּאְשְׁמוּ אָשֹׁום וְנִקְּמוּ בָהֶם
13 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. I will make it a waste from Teman to Dedan; they shall fall by the sword.	13 לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְנָטִתִי יָדִי עַל־אֱדֹום וְהִכְרַתִּי מִמֶּנָּה אָדָם וּבְהֵמָה וּנְתַתִּיהָ חָרְבָּה מִתֵּימָן וּדְדָנֶה בַּחֶרֶב יִפֹּלוּ
14 My vengeance upon Edom I will entrust to my people Israel, who will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my fury; thus they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord GOD.	14 וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־נִקְמָתִי בֶּאֱדֹום בְּיַד עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעָשׂוּ בֶאֱדֹום כְּאַפִּי וְכַחֲמָתִי וְיָדְעוּ אֶת־נִקְמָתִי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ פ
15 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the Philistines have acted revengefully, and have taken vengeance with destructive malice in their hearts, with an undying enmity,	15 כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן עֲשֹׂות פְּלִשְׁתִּים בִּנְקָמָה וַיִּנָּקְמוּ נָקָם בִּשְׁאָט בְּנֶפֶשׁ לְמַשְׁחִית אֵיבַת עֹולָם
16 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: See! I am stretching out my hand against the Philistines; I will cut off the Cherethites and wipe out the remnant on the seacoast.	16 לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי נֹוטֶה יָדִי עַל־פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְהִכְרַתִּי אֶת־כְּרֵתִים וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי אֶת־שְׁאֵרִית חֹוף הַיָּם
17 I will execute great acts of vengeance on them, punishing them furiously. Thus they shall know that I am the LORD, when I wreak my vengeance on them.	17 וְעָשִׂיתִי בָם נְקָמֹות גְּדֹלֹות בְּתֹוכְחֹות חֵמָה וְיָדְעוּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה בְּתִתִּי אֶת־נִקְמָתִי בָּם׃ ס
