Leviticus 14

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Yahveh habló a Moisés diciendo:
2 "This is the law for the victim of leprosy at the time of his purification. He shall be brought to the priest,	2 Esta es la ley que ha de aplicarse al leproso en el día de su purificación. Se le conducirá al sacerdote,
3 who is to go outside the camp to examine him. If the priest finds that the sore of leprosy has healed in the leper,	3 y el sacerdote saldrá fuera del campamento; si, tras de haberlo examinado, comprueba que el leproso está ya curado de la llaga de lepra,
4 he shall order the man who is to be purified, to get two live, clean birds, as well as some cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop.	4 el sacerdote mandará traer para el que ha de ser purificado dos pájaros vivos y puros, madera de cedro, púrpura escarlata e hisopo.
5 The priest shall then order him to slay one of the birds over an earthen vessel with spring water in it.	5 Después mandará inmolar uno de los pájaros sobre una vasija de barro con agua viva.
6 Taking the living bird with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, the priest shall dip them all in the blood of the bird that was slain over the spring water,	6 Tomará luego el pájaro vivo, la madera de cedro, la púrpura escarlata y el hisopo, los mojará, juntamente con el pájaro vivo, en la sangre del pájaro inmolado sobre el agua viva,
7 and then sprinkle seven times the man to be purified from his leprosy. When he has thus purified him, he shall let the living bird fly away over the countryside.	7 y rociará siete veces al que ha de ser purificado de la lepra. Y, tras de declararlo puro, soltará en el campo el pájaro vivo.
8 The man being purified shall then wash his garments and shave off all his hair and bathe in water; only when he is thus made clean may he come inside the camp; but he shall still remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 El que se purifica lavará sus vestidos, se afeitará todo su pelo, se bañará en agua, y quedará limpio. Después podrá entrar en el campamento; pero durante siete días ha de habitar fuera de su tienda.
9 On the seventh day he shall again shave off all the hair of his head, his beard, his eyebrows, and any other hair he may have, and also wash his garments and bathe his body in water; and so he will be clean.	9 El día séptimo se afeitará todo su pelo, su cabellera, su barba, sus cejas, es decir, se afeitará todo su pelo, lavará también sus vestidos, bañará su cuerpo en agua y quedará limpio.
10 "On the eighth day he shall take two unblemished male lambs, one unblemished yearling ewe lamb, three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 El día octavo tomará dos corderos sin defecto y una cordera de un año sin defecto; y como oblación, tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite y un cuartillo de aceite.
11 The priest who performs the purification ceremony shall place the man who is being purified, as well as all these offerings, before the LORD at the entrance of the meeting tent.	11 El sacerdote que hace la purificación presentará ante Yahveh, junto con todas esas cosas, al hombre que ha de purificarse, a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
12 Taking one of the male lambs, the priest shall present it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, waving them as a wave offering before the LORD.	12 El sacerdote tomará uno de los corderos para ofrecerlo como sacrificio de reparación, además del cuartillo de aceite, y lo mecerá como ofrenda ante Yahveh.
13 (This lamb he shall slaughter in the sacred place where the sin offering and the holocaust are slaughtered; because, like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest and is most sacred.)	13 Luego inmolará el cordero en el lugar donde se inmola el sacrificio por el pecado y el holocausto, en lugar sagrado; porque, tanto en el sacrificio por el pecado como en el sacrificio de reparación, la víctima pertenece al sacerdote; es cosa sacratísima.
14 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot.	14 Después el sacerdote tomará sangre de la víctima de reparación y mojará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se está purificando, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho.
15 The priest shall also take the log of oil and pour some of it into the palm of his own left hand;	15 Y, tomando del cuartillo de aceite, el sacerdote echará parte de él sobre la palma de su mano izquierda.
16 then, dipping his right forefinger in it, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the LORD.	16 Después untará un dedo de su mano derecha en el aceite que tiene en la palma de su mano izquierda, y con su dedo hará siete aspersiones de aceite delante de Yahveh.
17 Of the oil left in his hand the priest shall put some on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot, over the blood of the guilt offering.	17 Con el aceite restante que tiene en su mano el sacerdote untará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho sobre la sangre de la víctima de reparación.
18 The rest of the oil in his hand the priest shall put on the head of the man being purified. Thus shall the priest make atonement for him before the LORD.	18 El resto del aceite que quede en la mano del sacerdote, se echará sobre la cabeza del que se purifica. El sacerdote expiará así por él ante Yahveh.
19 Only after he has offered the sin offering in atonement for the man's uncleanness shall the priest slaughter the holocaust	19 El sacerdote ofrecerá el sacrificio por el pecado y hará expiación por el que se purifica de su impureza; después inmolará el holocausto.
20 and offer it, together with the cereal offering, on the altar before the LORD. When the priest has thus made atonement for him, the man will be clean.	20 Y ofrecerá sobre el altar el holocausto y la oblación. De esta manera el sacerdote hará expiación por él y quedará limpio.
21 "If a man is poor and cannot afford so much, he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering, to be used as a wave offering in atonement for himself, one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, a log of oil,	21 Si es pobre y no tiene suficientes recursos, tomará un cordero como sacrificio de reparación, como ofrenda mecida, para hacer expiación por él, y además, como oblación, una décima de flor de harina amasada con aceite, un cuartillo de aceite,
22 and two turtledoves or pigeons, which he can more easily afford, the one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust.	22 y dos tórtolas o dos pichones, según sus recursos, uno como sacrificio por el pecado, y otro como holocausto.
23 On the eighth day of his purification he shall bring them to the priest, at the entrance of the meeting tent before the LORD.	23 Al octavo día, los llevará al sacerdote, a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro para su purificación delante de Yahveh.
24 Taking the guilt-offering lamb, along with the log of oil, the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.	24 El sacerdote tomará el cordero del sacrificio de reparación y el cuartillo de aceite, y los mecerá como ofrenda ante Yahveh.
25 When he has slaughtered the guilt-offering lamb, he shall take some of its blood, and put it on the tip of the right ear of the man being purified, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	25 Después de haber inmolado el cordero del sacrificio de reparación, el sacerdote tomará sangre de la víctima de reparación y mojará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho.
26 The priest shall then pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand	26 Luego derramará parte del aceite sobre la palma de su mano izquierda;
27 and with his right forefinger sprinkle it seven times before the LORD.	27 con un dedo de su mano derecha hará ante Yahveh siete aspersiones con el aceite que tiene en la palma de la mano izquierda,
28 Some of the oil in his hand the priest shall also put on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot, over the blood of the guilt offering.	28 untará con el aceite que tiene en su mano el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho, en el lugar donde puso la sangre de la víctima de reparación.
29 The rest of the oil in his hand the priest shall put on the man's head. Thus shall he make atonement for him before the LORD.	29 Derramará el resto del aceite que le quede en la mano sobre la cabeza del que se purifica, haciendo expiación por él ante Yahveh.
30 Then, of the turtledoves or pigeons, such as the man can afford,	30 Luego ofrecerá, conforme a los recursos suyos, una de las tórtolas o de los pichones,
31 the priest shall offer up one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust, along with the cereal offering. Thus shall the priest make atonement before the LORD for the man who is to be purified.	31 es decir, lo que alcanzan sus recursos, uno como sacrificio por el pecado, y otro como holocausto, además de la oblación. De este modo el sacerdote hará expiación ante Yahveh por aquel que se purifica.
32 This is the law for one afflicted with leprosy who has insufficient means for his purification."	32 Esta es la ley de purificación para aquel que tiene llaga de lepra y cuyos recursos son limitados.
33 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,	33 Yahveh habló a Moisés y a Aarón diciendo:
34 "When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving you to possess, if I put a leprous infection on any house of the land you occupy,	34 Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra de Canaán que yo os doy en posesión, y castigue con lepra alguna de las casas de la tierra que poseeréis,
35 the owner of the house shall come and report to the priest, 'It looks to me as if my house were infected.'	35 el propietario de la casa irá a avisar al sacerdote, diciendo: «Ha aparecido algo como lepra en mi casa.»
36 The priest shall then order the house to be cleared out before he goes in to examine the infection, lest everything in the house become unclean. Only after this is he to go in to examine the house.	36 El sacerdote, antes de entrar en la casa para examinar la lepra, ordenará que desocupen la casa, para que nada quede inmundo de cuanto hay en ella. Después entrará el sacerdote a examinar la casa.
37 If the priest, on examining it, finds that the infection on the walls of the house consists of greenish or reddish depressions which seem to go deeper than the surface of the wall,	37 Si al examinarla observa que la mancha forma en las paredes de la casa cavidades verdosas y rojizas que parecen hundidas en la pared,
38 he shall close the door of the house behind him and quarantine the house for seven days.	38 el sacerdote saldrá a la puerta de la casa y la cerrará durante siete días.
39 On the seventh day the priest shall return to examine the house again. If he finds that the infection has spread on the walls,	39 Volverá al día séptimo, y si comprueba que la mancha se ha extendido por las paredes de la casa,
40 he shall order the infected stones to be pulled out and cast in an unclean place outside the city.	40 mandará arrancar las piedras manchadas y arrojarlas fuera de la ciudad en un lugar inmundo.
41 The whole inside of the house shall then be scraped, and the mortar that has been scraped off shall be dumped in an unclean place outside the city.	41 Hará raspar todo el interior de la casa; y echarán fuera de la ciudad, en un lugar inmundo, el polvo que hayan quitado.
42 Then new stones shall be brought and put in the place of the old stones, and new mortar shall be made and plastered on the house.	42 Luego tomarán otras piedras y las pondrán en lugar de las primeras; y también argamasa nueva para revocar la casa.
43 "If the infection breaks out once more after the stones have been pulled out and the house has been scraped and replastered,	43 Si la mancha vuelve a extenderse por la casa después de haber arrancado las piedras, y de haberla raspado y revocado,
44 the priest shall come again; and if he finds that the infection has spread in the house, it is corrosive leprosy, and the house is unclean.	44 el sacerdote entrará de nuevo; y si comprueba que la mancha se ha extendido por la casa, hay un caso de lepra maligna en la casa, y ésta es impura.
45 It shall be pulled down, and all its stones, beams and mortar shall be hauled away to an unclean place outside the city.	45 Se derribará la casa. Sus piedras, sus maderas y todo el material de la casa será sacado fuera de la ciudad a un lugar inmundo.
46 Whoever enters a house while it is quarantined shall be unclean until evening.	46 Quien entre en esa casa durante el tiempo que esté clausurada quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
47 Whoever sleeps or eats in such a house shall also wash his garments.	47 El que duerma en ella habrá de lavar sus vestidos; y también el que coma en ella habrá de lavarlos.
48 If the priest finds, when he comes to examine the house, that the infection has in fact not spread after the plastering, he shall declare the house clean, since the infection has been healed.	48 Mas si el sacerdote comprueba al entrar que, después de revocada la casa, la mancha no se ha extendido por ella, la declarará pura, pues se ha curado del mal.
49 To purify the house, he shall take two birds, as well as cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop.	49 Entonces, para ofrecer por la casa un sacrificio por el pecado, tomará dos pájaros, madera de cedro, púrpura escarlata e hisopo;
50 One of the birds he shall slay over an earthen vessel with spring water in it.	50 inmolará uno de los pájaros sobre una vasija de barro con agua viva
51 Then, taking the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn, together with the living bird, he shall dip them all in the blood of the slain bird and the spring water, and sprinkle the house seven times.	51 y, tomando la madera de cedro, el hisopo y la púrpura escarlata, con el pájaro vivo, los mojará en la sangre del pájaro degollado y en el agua viva; y rociará la casa siete veces.
52 Thus shall he purify the house with the bird's blood and the spring water, along with the living bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the scarlet yarn.	52 Y, tras haber realizado el sacrificio por el pecado en favor de la casa con la sangre del pájaro, con el agua viva, el pájaro vivo, la madera de cedro, el hisopo y la lana escarlata,
53 He shall then let the living bird fly away over the countryside outside the city. When he has thus made atonement for it, the house will be clean.	53 soltará el pájaro vivo fuera de la ciudad, en el campo. De este modo hará expiación por la casa, la cual quedará pura.
54 "This is the law for every kind of human leprosy and scall,	54 Esta es la ley para toda clase de lepra o de tiña,
55 for leprosy of garments and houses,	55 para la lepra del vestido y de la casa,
56 as well as for scabs, pustules and blotches,	56 para los tumores, erupciones y manchas blancas,
57 so that it may be manifest when there is a state of uncleanness and when a state of cleanness. This is the law for leprosy."	57 y para declarar los períodos de impureza y de pureza. Esta es la ley de la lepra.
