Isaiah 60

1 Rise up in splendor! Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you.	1 Устань, засяй! Зійшло бо твоє світло, слава Господня засяяла над тобою!
2 See, darkness covers the earth, and thick clouds cover the peoples; But upon you the LORD shines, and over you appears his glory.	2 Бо темрява окриває землю, і темнота народи, а над тобою Господь сяє: слава його з’явилась над тобою.
3 Nations shall walk by your light, and kings by your shining radiance.	3 Народи йдуть до твого світла, царі до сяйва твого блиску.
4 Raise your eyes and look about; they all gather and come to you: Your sons come from afar, and your daughters in the arms of their nurses.	4 Поглянь навколо твоїми очима й подивися: усі вони збираються, йдуть до тебе! Сини твої здалека прибувають, дочок твоїх на руках носять.
5 Then you shall be radiant at what you see, your heart shall throb and overflow, For the riches of the sea shall be emptied out before you, the wealth of nations shall be brought to you.	5 Тоді ти глянеш і засяєш; заб’ється і пошириться в тебе серце, бо скарби моря попливуть до тебе, багатства народів прийдуть до тебе.
6 Caravans of camels shall fill you, dromedaries from Midian and Ephah; All from Sheba shall come bearing gold and frankincense, and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.	6 Безліч верблюдів тебе вкриє, верблюди молоді з Мідіяну та з Ефи. Сила їх прийде з Шеви, несучи золото й ладан, звістуючи хвалу Господню.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered for you, the rams of Nebaioth shall be your sacrifices; They will be acceptable offerings on my altar, and I will enhance the splendor of my house.	7 Усі кедарські вівці зберуться коло тебе, і невайотські барани будуть тобі служити, зійдуть на жертовник мій, немов люба жертва, і я прославлю дім моєї слави.
8 What are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their cotes?	8 Хто вони, ті, що летять, мов хмара, мов голуби у свій голубник?
9 All the vessels of the sea are assembled, with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, To bring your children from afar with their silver and gold, In the name of the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.	9 Так! Острови мене чекають, таршішські кораблі приходять перші, щоб привезти твоїх синів здалека разом з їхнім золотом і сріблом імені Господа, Бога твого, Святому Ізраїля, бо він тебе прославив.
10 Foreigners shall rebuild your walls, and their kings shall be your attendants; Though I struck you in my wrath, yet in my good will I have shown you mercy.	10 Сини чужинців відбудують твої мури, царі їхні будуть тобі служити, бо хоч у гніві моїм я тебе ударив, але в моїй ласці я зглянувся на тебе.
11 Your gates shall stand open constantly; day and night they shall not be closed But shall admit to you the wealth of nations, and their kings, in the vanguard.	11 Брами твої будуть завжди відкриті; ні вдень, ні вночі не будуть зачинятись, щоб принести до мене скарби народів під проводом їхніх царів.
12 For the people or kingdom shall perish that does not serve you; those nations shall be utterly destroyed.	12 Народ бо й царство, що не захоче тобі служити, загине; ті народи будуть знищені дощенту.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you: the cypress, the plane and the pine, To bring beauty to my sanctuary, and glory to the place where I set my feet.	13 Слава Ливану прийде до тебе; кипарис, явір разом із сосною, щоб прикрасити місце моєї святині, і я прославлю місце, де покояться мої ноги.
14 The children of your oppressors shall come, bowing low before you; All those who despised you shall fall prostrate at your feet. They shall call you "City of the LORD," "Zion of the Holy One of Israel."	14 Сини твоїх гнобителів прийдуть, припавши до тебе в покорі; всі ті, що тобою гордували, припадуть до стіп твоїх ніг і назвуть тебе містом Господнім, Сіоном Святого Ізраїлевого.
15 Once you were forsaken, hated and unvisited, Now I will make you the pride of the ages, a joy to generation after generation.	15 Тебе покинули й зненавиділи, тебе оминали; зате я вчиню тебе славою повіки, радістю від роду й до роду.
16 You shall suck the milk of nations, and be nursed at royal breasts; You shall know that I, the LORD, am your savior, your redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.	16 Ти будеш ссати молоко народів, ти будеш усмоктувати царські скарби, і зрозумієш, що я — Господь, твій Спаситель, і що Потужний Якова — твій Викупитель.
17 In place of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron, silver; In place of wood, bronze, instead of stones, iron; I will appoint peace your governor, and justice your ruler.	17 Замість міді я принесу золото, замість заліза принесу срібло, мідь замість дерева, замість каменя — залізо. Настановлю мир володарем у тебе, правителем у тебе — справедливість.
18 No longer shall violence be heard of in your land, or plunder and ruin within your boundaries. You shall call your walls "Salvation" and your gates "Praise."	18 Не чути буде більше про насильство в твоїм краю та про спустошення й руїну в твоїх межах. Ти зватимеш твої мури спасінням, славою — твої ворота.
19 No longer shall the sun be your light by day, Nor the brightness of the moon shine upon you at night; The LORD shall be your light forever, your God shall be your glory.	19 Не сонце буде вже для тебе денним світлом, і місяць не освітить тебе своїм сяйвом, а Господь буде твоїм вічним світлом і Бог твій — славою твоєю.
20 No longer shall your sun go down, or your moon withdraw, For the LORD will be your light forever, and the days of your mourning shall be at an end.	20 Сонце твоє не зайде більше, і місяць твій більш не убуде; бо Господь буде твоїм вічним світлом, прийде кінець дням твого смутку.
21 Your people shall all be just, they shall always possess the land, They, the bud of my planting, my handiwork to show my glory.	21 Увесь твій народ — то лише справедливі; вони повіки володітимуть землею, вони — пагін моєї посадки, діло моїх рук, мені на славу.
22 The smallest shall become a thousand, the youngest, a mighty nation; I, the LORD, will swiftly accomplish these things when their time comes.	22 Найменший стане тисячею, найнезнатніший — сильним народом. Я, Господь, свого часу прискорю те.
