1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song. The LORD loves the city founded on holy mountains,	1 Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Cântico. O Senhor ama a cidade que fundou nos montes santos;
2 Loves the gates of Zion more than any dwelling in Jacob.	2 Ele prefere as portas de Sião às tendas de Jacó.
3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God! Selah	3 De ti se anuncia um glorioso destino, ó cidade de Deus.
4 From Babylon and Egypt I count those who acknowledge the LORD. Philistia, Ethiopia, Tyre, of them it can be said: "This one was born there."	4 Ajuntarei Raab e Babilônia aos que me honram; eis a Filistéia e Tiro com a Etiópia, lá todos nasceram.
5 But of Zion it must be said: "They all were born here." The Most High confirms this;	5 Dir-se-á de Sião: Um por um, todos esses homens nela nasceram; foi o próprio Altíssimo quem a fundou.
6 the Lord notes in the register of the peoples: "This one was born here." Selah	6 O Senhor inscreverá então no registro dos povos: Aquele também nasceu em Sião.
7 So all sing in their festive dance: "Within you is my true home."	7 E cantarão entre danças: Todas as minhas fontes se acham em ti.
