¹ A song; a psalm of Asaph.	¹ Ao mestre do coro. Segundo a melodia de "Os lagares..." Dos filhos de Coré. Salmo.
² God, do not be silent; God, be not still and unmoved!	² Quão amável é a tua morada, Senhor dos exércitos!
³ See how your enemies rage; your foes proudly raise their heads.	³ A minha alma suspira, desfalece, desejando os átrios do Senhor; o meu coração e a minha carne exultam em Deus vivo.
⁴ They conspire against your people, plot against those you protect.	⁴ Até o pássaro encontra uma casa, e a andorinha um ninho onde possa pôr os seus filhinhos: (sejam minha casa) os teus altares, Senhor dos exércitos, rei meu, e Deus meu!
⁵ They say, "Come, let us wipe out their nation; let Israel's name be mentioned no more!"	⁵ Bem-aventurados, Senhor, os que moram na tua casa: eles te louvam sem cessar.
⁶ They scheme with one mind, in league against you:	⁶ Bem-aventurado o homem que de ti recebe auxilio, quando decide empreender viagens santas:
⁷ The tents of Ishmael and Edom, the people of Moab and Hagar,	⁷ ao passar por um árido vale, será (cheio de águas, para o transeunte) como um manancial, revesti-lo-á de bênçãos a primeira chuva.
⁸ Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre.	⁸ Avançarão (os peregrinos) com vigor sempre crescente, verão o Deus dos deuses em Sião.
⁹ Assyria, too, in league with them gives aid to the descendants of Lot. Selah	⁹ Senhor, Deus dos exércitos, ouve a minha oração; presta ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacob.
¹⁰ Deal with them as with Midian; as with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent Kishon,	¹⁰ O Deus, nosso escudo, olha para nós, e põe os olhos no rosto do teu ungido (Davide).
¹¹ Those destroyed at Endor, who became dung for the ground.	¹¹ Em verdade, é melhor um só dia nos teus átrios, que milhares, fora deles; prefiro deter-me no limiar da casa de Deus, a morar nas tendas dos pecadores.
¹² Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,	¹² Porque sol e escudo é o Senhor Deus: graça e glória dá o Senhor, não nega bens aos que andam na inocência.
¹³ Who made a plan together, "Let us seize the pastures of God."	¹³ Senhor dos exércitos, bem-aventurado o homem que em ti confia.
¹⁴ My God, turn them into withered grass, into chaff flying before the wind.
¹⁵ As a fire raging through a forest, a flame setting mountains ablaze,
¹⁶ Pursue them with your tempest; terrify them with your storm.
¹⁷ Cover their faces with shame, till they pay you homage, LORD.
¹⁸ Let them be dismayed and shamed forever; let them perish in disgrace.
¹⁹ Show them you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
