2 God, do not be silent; God, be not still and unmoved!	2 Quão amável é a tua morada, Senhor dos exércitos!
3 See how your enemies rage; your foes proudly raise their heads.	3 A minha alma suspira, desfalece, desejando os átrios do Senhor; o meu coração e a minha carne exultam em Deus vivo.
4 They conspire against your people, plot against those you protect.	4 Até o pássaro encontra uma casa, e a andorinha um ninho onde possa pôr os seus filhinhos: (sejam minha casa) os teus altares, Senhor dos exércitos, rei meu, e Deus meu!
5 They say, "Come, let us wipe out their nation; let Israel's name be mentioned no more!"	5 Bem-aventurados, Senhor, os que moram na tua casa: eles te louvam sem cessar.
6 They scheme with one mind, in league against you:	6 Bem-aventurado o homem que de ti recebe auxilio, quando decide empreender viagens santas:
7 The tents of Ishmael and Edom, the people of Moab and Hagar,	7 ao passar por um árido vale, será (cheio de águas, para o transeunte) como um manancial, revesti-lo-á de bênçãos a primeira chuva.
8 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre.	8 Avançarão (os peregrinos) com vigor sempre crescente, verão o Deus dos deuses em Sião.
9 Assyria, too, in league with them gives aid to the descendants of Lot. Selah	9 Senhor, Deus dos exércitos, ouve a minha oração; presta ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacob.
10 Deal with them as with Midian; as with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent Kishon,	10 O Deus, nosso escudo, olha para nós, e põe os olhos no rosto do teu ungido (Davide).
11 Those destroyed at Endor, who became dung for the ground.	11 Em verdade, é melhor um só dia nos teus átrios, que milhares, fora deles; prefiro deter-me no limiar da casa de Deus, a morar nas tendas dos pecadores.
12 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,	12 Porque sol e escudo é o Senhor Deus: graça e glória dá o Senhor, não nega bens aos que andam na inocência.
13 Who made a plan together, "Let us seize the pastures of God."	13 Senhor dos exércitos, bem-aventurado o homem que em ti confia.
14 My God, turn them into withered grass, into chaff flying before the wind.
15 As a fire raging through a forest, a flame setting mountains ablaze,
16 Pursue them with your tempest; terrify them with your storm.
17 Cover their faces with shame, till they pay you homage, LORD.
18 Let them be dismayed and shamed forever; let them perish in disgrace.
19 Show them you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
