Psalms 14

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 For the leader. Of David. Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right.	1 Del maestro de coro. De David. El necio se dice a sí mismo: «No hay Dios». Todos están pervertidos, hacen cosas abominables, nadie practica el bien.
2 The LORD looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God.	2 El Señor observa desde el cielo a los seres humanos, para ver si hay alguien que sea sensato, alguien que busque a Dios.
3 All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one.	3 Todos están extraviados, igualmente corrompidos; nadie practica el bien, ni siquiera uno solo.
4 Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon the LORD.	4 Nunca aprenderán los malvados, los que devoran a mi pueblo como si fuera pan, y no invocan al Señor?
5 They have good reason, then, to fear; God is with the company of the just.	5 Miren cómo tiemblan de espanto, porque Dios está a favor de los justos.
6 They would crush the hopes of the poor, but the poor have the LORD as their refuge.	6 ustedes se burlan de las aspiraciones del pobre, pero el Señor es su refugio.
7 Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice, and Israel be glad when the LORD restores his people!	7 ¡Ojalá venga desde Sión la salvación de Israel! Cuando el Señor cambie la suerte de su pueblo, se alegrará Jacob, se regocijará Israel.
