2 Help, LORD, for no one loyal remains; the faithful have vanished from the human race	2 Спаси, о Господи! Бо побожних дедалі менше, бо правда з-поміж людей зникла.
3 Those who tell lies to one another speak with deceiving lips and a double heart.	3 Брехню один одному точать, базікають облесливими словами й нещирим серцем.
4 May the LORD cut off all deceiving lips, and every boastful tongue,	4 Нехай Господь заціпить усі уста лестиві, язик велерічивий тих, що кажуть:
5 Those who say, "By our tongues we prevail; when our lips speak, who can lord it over us?"	5 «Нашим язиком ми чудеса появимо, в нас є губи! Хто пан над нами?»
6 "Because they rob the weak, and the needy groan, I will now arise," says the LORD; "I will grant safety to whoever longs for it."	6 «Задля горя нужденних і зідхань бідних ось я встану, — каже Господь, — я дам спасіння тому, хто його прагне.»
7 The promises of the LORD are sure, silver refined in a crucible, silver purified seven times.	7 Слова Господні — слова щирі, випробуване срібло, очищене від землі, сім раз перелите.
8 LORD, protect us always; preserve us from this generation.	8 Ти сохраниш, Господи, нас; ти збережеш нас від цього роду й повіки.
9 On every side the wicked strut; the shameless are extolled by all.	9 Навколо грішники кружляють, коли підлота людська виноситься.
