1 Thus all Israel was inscribed in its family records which are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel.Now Judah had been carried in captivity to Babylon because of its rebellion.	1 Todo o Israel está registrado nas genealogias: elas encontram-se consignadas no livro dos reis de Israel. 2 The first to settle again in their cities and dwell there were certain lay Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple slaves.	2 Os primeiros habitantes que viveram em suas possessões e suas cidades eram israelitas, sacerdotes, levitas e os natineus.
3 In Jerusalem lived Judahites and Benjaminites; also Ephraimites and Manassehites.	3 Em Jerusalém, habitaram filhos de Judá, de Benjamim, de Efraim e de Manassés; de Farés, filho de Judá:
4 Among the Judahites was Uthai, son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, one of the descendants of Perez, son of Judah.	4 Otei, filho de Amiud, filho de Amri, filho de Omrai, filho de Boni;
5 Among the Shelanites were Asaiah, the first-born, and his sons.	5 dentre os silonitas: Asaia, filho mais velho, e seus filhos;

9 Their kindred of various families were nine hundred and fifty-six. All those named were heads of their ancestral houses.	9 Com seus irmãos, segundo suas gerações, eram eles 956; todos chefes de famílias, segundo suas casas patriarcais.

13 Their brethren, heads of their ancestral houses, were one thousand seven hundred and sixty, valiant for the work of the service of the house of God.	13 Eles e seus irmãos, chefes de suas casas patriarcais, perfaziam um total de mil setecentos e sessenta homens valorosos, ocupados no serviço da casa de Deus.

16 Obadiah, son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, a descendant of Jeduthun; and Berechiah, son of Asa, son of Elkanah, whose family lived in the villages of the Netophathites.	16 Obdia, filho de Semeia, filho de Gala, filho de Iditum; Baraquia, filho de Asa, filho de Elcana, que morava nas cidades dos netofateus.

20 Phinehas, son of Eleazar, had been their chief in times past--the LORD be with him!	20 Finéias, filho de Eleazar, outrora tinha sido chefe deles, e o Senhor estava com ele.
21 Zechariah, son of Meshelemiah, guarded the gate of the meeting tent.	21 Zacarias, filho de Mosolamia, era porteiro na entrada da tenda de reunião.
22 In all, those who were chosen for gatekeepers at the threshold were two hundred and twelve. They were inscribed in the family records of their villages. David and Samuel the seer had established them in their position of trust.	22 Esses guardas das portas tinham sido escolhidos em número de duzentos e doze, registrados nas genealogias, segundo suas aldeias. 26 while the four chief gatekeepers were on constant duty. 28 Some of them had charge of the liturgical equipment, tallying it as it was brought in and taken out.	28 Outros se encarregavam da vigilância dos objetos do culto que inventariavam à entrada e à saída.
29 Others were appointed to take care of the utensils and all the sacred vessels, as well as the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.	29 Outros ainda cuidavam dos utensílios do santuário, da flor de farinha, do vinho, do azeite, do incenso e dos aromas.

43 Moza became the father of Binea, whose son was Rephaiah, whose son was Eleasah, whose son was Azel.	43 Mosa gerou Banaa, Rafaia, seu filho, Elasa, seu filho, Asel, seu filho;
44 Azel had six sons, whose names were Azrikam, his first-born, Ishmael, Sheariah, Azariah, Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.	44 Asel teve seis filhos, cujos nomes são: Ezricão, Bocru, Ismael, Saria, Obdia, Hanã. São estes os filhos de Asel.
