Revelation 14

1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.	1 Poi guardai, e vidi l'Agnello che stava sul monte Sion e con lui cento quarantaquattro mila persone che avevan scritto in fronte il suo nome e quello del suo Padre.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:	2 E udii venir dal cielo un suono simile al rumore di molte acque e al rombo di gran tuono, e il suono che sentivo era come un concerto di arpisti che suonino i loro strumenti.
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.	3 E cantavano come un cantico nuovo dinanzi al trono, dinanzi ai quattro animali e ai vegliardi, cantico che nessuno poteva imparare, se non quei centoquarantaquattromila riscattati dalla terra:
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.	4 quelli cioè che non si sono macchiati con donne, essendo vergini. Essi seguono l'Agnello dovunque vada; essi furon riscattati di fra gli uomini, primizie a Dio e all'Agnello;
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.	5 nè fu trovata menzogna nella loro bocca; e sono senza macchia davanti al trono di Dio.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,	6 E vidi un altro Angelo che volava in mezzo al cielo, tenendo l'Evangelo eterno, per annunziarlo agli abitatori della terra, ad ogni nazione e tribù e lingua e popolo.
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.	7 E diceva a gran voce: Temete il Signore ed onoratelo, perchè è giunta l'ora del suo giudizio: adorate Colui che fece il cielo e la terra e il mare e le fonti dell'acqua.
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.	8 E un altro Angelo lo seguì, dicendo: E' caduta, è caduta la gran Babilonia, colei che ha fatto bere il vino del furore della sua fornicazione a tutte le genti.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,	9 E li seguì un terzo Angelo che diceva ad alta voce: Chi avrà adorato la bestia e l'imagine di lei e ne avrà ricevuta l'impronta in fronte o sulla mano,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:	10 anche lui beverà del vino dell'ira di Dio, già mesciuto puro nel calice della sua collera, e sarà tormentato col fuoco e collo zolfo nel cospetto dei santi Angeli e in presenza dell'Agnello;
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.	11 e il fumo dei loro tormenti si alzerà nei secoli dei secoli; e non han riposo nè giorno, nè notte coloro che adoran la bestia e l'imagine di lei e chi avrà ricevuta l'impronta del nome di lei.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.	12 Qui sta la pazienza dei santi, i quali osservano i comandamenti di Dio e la fede di Gesù.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.	13 E sentii una voce dal cielo che mi diceva: Scrivi: Beati i morti che muoiono nel Signore. Già fin d'ora dice lo Spirito che si riposino dalle loro fatiche, perchè le loro opere li accompagnano.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.	14 E guardai: ed ecco una candida nuvola, e sopra la nuvola assiso uno simile al Figlio dell'uomo, con una corona d'oro in capo e una falce tagliente in mano.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.	15 Ed un altro Angelo uscì dal tempio, gridando con gran voce a colui che sedeva sopra la nuvola: Mena la tua falce e mieti, perchè è già l'ora di mietere, essendo secca la messe della terra.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.	16 E colui che stava seduto sulla nuvola menò in giro la sua falce sulla terra, e la terra fu mietuta.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.	17 E dal tempio che è nel cielo uscì un altro Angelo, tenendo in mano anche lui una falco tagliente.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.	18 E dall'altare uscì un altro Angelo che aveva potere sul fuoco e con gran voco gridò a quello che aveva in mano la falce tagliente: Mena la tua falce tagliente e vendemmia i grappoli della vigna della terra, perchè ne son mature le uve.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.	19 E l'Angelo, menando la falce tagliente sopra la terra, vendemmiò la vigna della terra e ne gettò le uve nel gran tino dell'ira di Dio.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.	20 E il tino fu pigiato fuori della città, e ne uscì tanto sangue da alzare fino alle briglie dei cavalli sopra mille seicento stadi.
