Revelation 14

1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.	1 - E vidi [una visione], ed ecco l'agnello stava sul monte Sion, e con esso centoquarantaquattromila [persone], che avevano il nome di lui e del Padre suo scritto sulle loro fronti.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:	2 E udii una voce dal cielo come voce di molte acque e come voce di gran tuono; e la voce che udii [era] come di citaredi che sonavano sulle lor cetre.
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.	3 E cantavano come un cantico nuovo davanti al trono e davanti ai quattro animali e ai vecchi; e nessuno poteva imparare il cantico, se non i centoquarantaquattromila, comprati di sulla terra.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.	4 Questi son quelli che non si contaminaron con donne, giacchè son vergini; questi, quelli che accompagnan l'agnello dovunque vada; questi furon comprati di tra gli uomini [quali] primizie a Dio e all'agnello.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.	5 E sulla lor bocca non fu trovata menzogna: sono infatti senza macchia dinanzi al trono di Dio.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,	6 E vidi un altro angelo volar nel mezzo del cielo, che aveva un vangelo eterno da evangelizzare a quanti han sede sulla terra e a ogni nazione e tribù e lingua e popolo, il quale diceva a gran voce:
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.	7 «Temete Dio e dategli gloria, perch'è venuta l'ora del suo giudizio, e adorate colui che fece il cielo e la terra e il mare e le fonti delle acque».
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.	8 E un altro angelo seguì, dicendo: «È caduta, è caduta Babilonia la grande, quella che col vino del furore [di Dio, ch'è l'effetto] della sua prostituzione, ha abbeverato tutte le genti».
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,	9 E un terzo angelo tenne lor dietro, dicendo a gran voce: «Se alcuno adora la bestia e la sua effigie e riceve il marchio sulla sua fronte e sulla sua mano;
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:	10 egli berrà altresì del vino del furore di Dio, preparato schietto nel bicchiere dell'ira sua, e sarà tormentato con fuoco e zolfo al cospetto degli angeli santi e al cospetto dell'agnello.
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.	11 E il fumo del loro tormento salirà per i secoli de' secoli; nè han requie giorno e notte gli adoratori della bestia e della sua effigie e chi riceve il marchio del suo nome.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.	12 Qui sta la costanza dei santi, che onoreranno i comandamenti di Dio e la fede di Gesù».
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.	13 E udii una voce dal cielo che mi diceva: «Scrivi: "Beati i morti che muoiono d'ora innanzi nel Signore"!». «Sì», dice lo Spirito «[poichè muoiono] per riposarsi dalle loro fatiche; le loro opere infatti tengono loro dietro».
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.	14 E vidi [una visione], ed ecco una nuvola bianca, e seduto sulla nuvola [uno] simile a figliuolo d'uomo, che aveva sul suo capo una corona d'oro e nella sua mano una falce affilata.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.	15 E un altro angelo uscì dal tempio gridando a gran voce a colui che sedeva sulla nuvola: «Mena la tua falce e mieti, ch'è venuta l'ora di mietere, perchè il raccolto della terra è [già] secco».
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.	16 E colui che sedeva sulla nuvola menò la sua falce sulla terra e fu mietuta la terra.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.	17 E un altro angelo uscì dal tempio, ch'è nel cielo, avendo anch'egli una falce affilata.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.	18 E un altro angelo uscì dall'altare, il quale aveva la soprintendenza sul fuoco, e gridò con gran voce a quello che aveva la falce affilata, dicendo: «Mena la tua falce affilata e vendemmia i grappoli della vigna della terra, perchè le sue uve son mature».
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.	19 E lanciò l'angelo la sua falce affilata sulla terra, e vendemmiò la vigna della terra, e gettò [le uve] nel gran tino del furor di Dio.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.	20 E fu calcato il tino fuori della città, e uscì sangue dal tino [e salì, salì] sino alle briglie de' cavalli, per mille e seicento stadi.
