1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.	1 Ekkor íme, láttam, hogy a Bárány a Sion hegyén állt, és vele a száznegyvennégyezer, akiknek homlokára volt írva az ő neve és az ő Atyjának neve.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:	2 Egy hangot hallottam az égből, amely olyan volt, mint a nagy vizek zúgása és mint a mennydörgés , s a hang, amelyet hallottam, olyan volt, mint a hárfákon játszó hárfásoké.
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.	3 Új éneket énekeltek a trón előtt, a négy élőlény és a vének előtt, és senki más nem tudta megtanulni azt az éneket, mint az a száznegyvennégyezer, akik meg vannak váltva a földről.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.	4 Ezek azok, akik nem szennyezték be magukat asszonyokkal, mert szüzek. Követik a Bárányt, amerre csak megy; ők megváltást nyertek az emberek közül, zsengéül Istennek és a Báránynak,
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.	5 és a szájukban nem találtatott hazugság, mert szeplőtelenek.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,	6 Ekkor láttam egy másik angyalt repülni az ég zenitjén, akinél örök evangélium volt, hogy hirdesse az evangéliumot a föld lakóinak, minden nemzetnek, törzsnek, nyelvnek és népnek,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.	7 hangos szóval: »Féljétek Istent, és adjatok neki tiszteletet, mert eljött ítéletének órája; és imádjátok őt, aki az eget és a földet, a tengert és a vizek forrásait alkotta!«
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.	8 Ezt egy másik angyal követte, aki ezt mondta: »Elesett, elesett a nagy Babilon, amely féktelen paráznaságának borával itatott meg minden nemzetet!«
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,	9 Egy harmadik angyal követte őket, hangosan kiáltva: »Aki imádja a vadállatot és annak képmását, és felveszi bélyegét a homlokára vagy a kezére,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:	10 az is inni fog Isten haragjának borából , amely készen van, elegyítetlenül, haragjának kelyhében , és gyötrődni fog tűzben és kénben az angyalok és a Bárány előtt.
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.	11 Gyötrelmeik füstje felszáll örökkön örökké , és nincs nyugalmuk éjjel-nappal azoknak, akik imádták a vadállatot és képmását, és aki fölveszi nevének bélyegét.«
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.	12 – Ez a szentek béketűrése, akik megtartják Isten parancsait és Jézus hitét. –
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.	13 Egy hangot hallottam az égből, amely ezt mondta nekem: »Írjad: Már most boldogok a holtak, akik az Úrban halnak meg! Igen, mondja a Lélek, hogy megpihenjenek munkáiktól; mert cselekedeteik követik őket!«
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.	14 Ekkor íme, fehér felhőt láttam, és a felhőn az Emberfiához hasonló ült , akinek fején arany korona volt, és a kezében éles sarló.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.	15 Egy másik angyal jött ki a templomból, és hangos szóval így kiáltott a felhőn ülőnek: »Csapj a sarlóddal és arass, mert eljött az aratás órája, hiszen megérett az aratnivaló a földön!«
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.	16 És a felhőn ülő nekieresztette sarlóját a földnek, és learatta a földet.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.	17 Ekkor egy másik angyal jött ki az égben levő templomból, neki szintén éles sarlója volt.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.	18 Az oltártól ismét egy másik angyal jött ki, akinek hatalma volt a tűz felett, és hangosan odakiáltott annak, akinek éles sarlója volt: »Csapj le éles sarlóddal, és szüreteld le a föld szőlőjének gyümölcseit, mert megértek szőlőfürtjei!«
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.	19 Az angyal megindította sarlóját a földre, és leszüretelte a föld szőlőjét, és Isten haragjának nagy borprésébe dobta.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.	20 Megtaposták a borprést a városon kívül , és vér jött ki a présből a lovak zablájáig, ezerhatszáz stádiumnyira.
