2 Corinthians 9

1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:	1 Es ist ja für mich nicht nötig, euch über das Hilfswerk für die Heiligen zu schreiben;
2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.	2 denn ich weiß um eure Bereitschaft, von der ich rühmend zu den Mazedoniern über euch sagte, daß auch Achaia seit dem vorigen Jahr bereit sei; und der Eifer von euch war vielen ein Ansporn.
3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:	3 Ich sandte aber die Brüder, damit unser Rühmen über euch in dieser Sache sich nicht als unbegründet erweise, sondern ihr, wie ich sagte, gerüstet seid.
4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.	4 Sonst könnten Mazedonier mit mir kommen und euch unvorbereitet finden, und wir - um nicht zu sagen, ihr - würdet beschämt sein in dieser Zuversicht.
5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.	5 Ich habe es daher für nötig erachtet, die Brüder aufzufordern, zu euch vorauszureisen und die von euch bereits zugesagte Spende zu ordnen, damit sie bereitliege als eine Gabe des Segens und nicht geizigen Sinnes.
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.	6 Es ist so: Wer spärlich sät, wird auch spärlich ernten, und wer mit vollen Händen sät, wird mit vollen Händen auch ernten.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.	7 Jeder gebe, wie er es sich vorgenommen hat in seinem Herzen, nicht mit Unlust oder aus Zwang; denn "einen freudigen Geber hat Gott lieb" (Spr 11,24; Spr 22,9).
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:	8 Gott aber ist mächtig, jede Gnade euch reichlich zukommen zu lassen, auf daß ihr in allem stets volles Auskommen habt und darüber hinaus Möglichkeit zu jedem guten Werk,
9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.	9 wie geschrieben steht: "Er teilte aus, gab den Armen, seine Gerechtigkeit währet ewig" (Ps 112,9).
10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)	10 Der dem Sämann den Samen gibt und Brot zum Essen, wird auch euer Saatkorn beschaffen und mehren, und er wird heranwachsen lassen die Früchte eurer Gerechtigkeit.
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.	11 Reich werdend an allem, gelangt ihr zu vollkommener Lauterkeit, die hinführt zur Danksagung durch uns vor Gott.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;	12 Denn der Dienst bei dieser Opfergabe hilft nicht nur dem Mangel der Heiligen ab, sondern bringt auch reiche Frucht durch die vielen Dankgebete zu Gott.
13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;	13 Angesichts eurer Bewährung in diesem Dienst preisen sie Gott für den Gehorsam eures Bekenntnisses zum Evangelium Christi und für die lautere Gemeinschaft mit ihnen und mit allen.
14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.	14 Und bei ihrem Beten für euch sehnen sie sich nach euch wegen der überreichen Gnade, die Gott euch erwies.
15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.	15 Dank sei Gott für seine unaussprechliche Gabe!
