Zechariah 4

1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,	1 E tornò l'angelo che parlava con me, e mi fece svegliare come uomo che si desta dal sonno.
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:	2 E mi disse: « Che vedi? » Risposi: « Ho veduto, ed ecco un candelabro tutto d'oro, ha una lampada in cima, e porta sette lucerne, e sette canaletti per le lucerne che sono sopra di lui.
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.	3 E sopra ha due ulivi, uno a destra e uno a sinistra della lampada.
4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?	4 E, riprendendo la parola, dico all'angelo che parlava con me: « Signor mio, che son queste cose? »
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.	5 L'angelo che parlava con me mi rispose dicendo: « Come, non sai che sono queste cose? » Risposi: « No, davvero, Signor mio ».
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.	6 Ed egli ripresa la parola e rivolgendosi a me, disse: « Ecco la parola del Signore (rivolta) a Zorobabele in questi termini: Non per mezzo d'eserciti nè colla forza, ma per virtù del mio spirito — dice il Signore degli eserciti. —
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.	7 Che sei tu, o gran monte, davanti a Zorobabele? Sarai spianato. Egli porrà la prima pietra, e uguaglierà la grazia alla grazia di essa ».
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,	8 La parola del Signore mi fu rivolta in questi termini:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.	9 « Le mani di Zorobabele han gettati i fondamenti di questa casa, e le sue mani la compiranno, e voi conoscerete che mi ha mandato a voi il Signore degli eserciti.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.	10 E chi è che ha disprezzati i piccoli giorni? E si rallegreranno nel vedere il filo a piombo in mano di Zorobabele. Questi sette sono gli occhi del Signore che scorrono tutta quanta la terra ».
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?	11 Ed io ripresi la parola e gli dissi: « Che sono questi due ulivi, uno a destra e l'altro a sinistra del candelabro? »
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?	12 E di nuovo ripresi la parola e gli dissi: « Che son questi due rami degli ulivi che stanno presso i due beccucci d'oro, dove sono i canaletti d'oro? »
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.	13 Egli mi rispose, dicendo: « Come? non sai che siano queste cose? » Dissi: « No, davvero, Signor mio ».
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.	14 Ed egli disse: « Questi son due unti che? stan dinanzi al Dominatore di tutta la terra ».
