Zechariah 4

1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,	1 Aztán visszatért az az angyal, aki bennem beszélt, és felkeltett engem, úgy, mint amikor valakit az álmából keltenek fel,
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:	2 és kérdezte tőlem: ‘Mit látsz?’ És mondtam: ‘Íme, egy színarany mécstartót látok; a tetején olajtartó van, hét mécses van rajta, s a rajta levő mécseseknek hét csövecskéjük van;
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.	3 és mellette két olajfa van, az egyik a mécstartótól jobbra, a másik pedig tőle balra.’
4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?	4 Ekkor megszólaltam, és megkérdeztem az angyalt, aki bennem beszélt: ‘Mik ezek, uram?’
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.	5 És felelt az angyal, aki bennem beszélt, és kérdezte tőlem: ‘Vajon nem tudod-e, mik ezek?’ És mondtam: ‘Nem, uram.’
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.	6 Ő pedig felelt és így szólt hozzám: ‘Ezt a szózatot intézi az Úr Zerubbábelhez: Nem hadsereg által és nem erőszak által, hanem az én lelkem által – mondja a Seregek Ura. –
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.	7 Mi vagy te nagy hegy Zerubbábel előtt? Síksággá leszel! Ő majd felteszi az oromkövet, s közben ezt fogják kiabálni: mily nagyszerű, mily nagyszerű.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,	8 Ekkor az Úr a következő szózatot intézte hozzám:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.	9 Zerubbábel keze vetette meg e ház alapját, és az ő keze fejezi is majd be; és megtudjátok majd, hogy a Seregek Ura küldött engem hozzátok.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.	10 Bizony, akik gúnnyal illették a kis kezdet napjait, örvendeznek majd, ha látják Zerubbábel kezében az oromkövet. Az a hét pedig az Úr szeme, mely bejárja az egész földet.’
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?	11 Én pedig megszólaltam és azt mondtam neki: ‘Mi az a két olajfa a mécstartótól jobbra és balra?’
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?	12 És másodszor is mondtam neki: ‘Mi az olajfáknak az a két hajtása, amelyből két aranytölcséren keresztül ömlik az aranyszínű olaj?’
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.	13 Ő így szólt hozzám : ‘Nem tudod-e, hogy mik ezek?’ Mondtam: ‘Nem, uram.’
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.	14 Ő azt mondta: ‘Ez az a két felkent, akik az egész föld uralkodója előtt szolgálnak.’
