KING JAMES BIBLENEW JERUSALEM
1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.1 [Psalm] Sing a new song to Yahweh, for he has performed wonders, his saving power is in his righthand and his holy arm.
2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.2 Yahweh has made known his saving power, revealed his saving justice for the nations to see,
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.3 mindful of his faithful love and his constancy to the House of Israel. The whole wide world has seenthe saving power of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.4 Acclaim Yahweh, all the earth, burst into shouts of joy!
5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.5 Play to Yahweh on the harp, to the sound of instruments;
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.6 to the sound of trumpet and horn, acclaim the presence of the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.7 Let the sea thunder, and al that it holds, the world and al who live in it.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together8 Let the rivers clap their hands, and the mountains shout for joy together,
9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.9 at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge the earth; he wil judge the world with saving justiceand the nations with fairness.
