Psalms 96

KING JAMES BIBLE	NOVA VULGATA
1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.	1 Cantate Domino canticum novum, cantate Domino, omnis terra.
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 Cantate Domino, benedicite nomini eius, annuntiate de die in diem salutare eius.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.	3 Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam eius, in omnibus populis mirabilia eius.
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Quoniam magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, terribilis est super omnes deos.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.	5 Quoniam omnes dii gentium inania, Dominus autem caelos fecit.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.	6 Magnificentia et pulchritudo in conspectu eius, potentia et decor in sanctuario eius.
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.	7 Afferte Domino, familiae populorum, afferte Domino gloriam et potentiam,
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.	8 afferte Domino gloriam nominis eius. Tollite hostias et introite in atria eius,
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.	9 adorate Dominum in splendore sancto. Contremiscite a facie eius, universa terra;
10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.	10 dicite in gentibus: “ Dominus regnavit! ”. Etenim correxit orbem terrae, qui non commovebitur; iudicabit populos in aequitate.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.	11 Laetentur caeli, et exsultet terra, sonet mare et plenitudo eius;
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice	12 gaudebunt campi et omnia, quae in eis sunt. Tunc exsultabunt omnia ligna silvarum
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.	13 a facie Domini, quia venit, quoniam venit iudicare terram. Iudicabit orbem terrae in iustitia et populos in veritate sua.
