1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.	1 Ao mestre de canto. De Davi. Para servir de lembrança. Comprazei-vos, ó Deus, em me livrar; depressa, Senhor, vinde em meu auxílio.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.	2 Sejam confundidos e humilhados os que odeiam a minha vida. Recuem e corem de vergonha os que se comprazem com meus males.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.	3 Afastem-se, cobertos de confusão, os que me dizem: Ah! Ah!
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.	4 Pelo contrário, exultem e se alegrem em vós todos os que vos procuram. Que repitam sem cessar: Glória ao Senhor! aqueles que desejam vosso auxílio.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.	5 Quanto a mim, sou pobre e desvalido. Socorrei-me, ó Deus, sois meu protetor e libertador. Senhor, não tardeis mais.
