1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.	1 Psalam. Davidov. Kad je David bježao pred sinom Abšalomom.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.	2 Jahve, koliko je tlačitelja mojih, koliki se podižu na me!
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.	3 Mnogi su što o meni zbore: »Nema mu spasenja u Bogu!«
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.	4 Ti si ipak štit moj, Jahve; slavo moja, ti mi glavu podižeš.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.	5 Iza sveg glasa Jahvi zavapih, i on me usliša sa svete gore svoje.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.	6 Sad mogu leć’ i usnuti, i onda ustat’ jer me Jahve drži.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.	7 Ne bojim se tisuća ljudi što me opsjedaju dušmanski.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.	8 Ustani, o Jahve! Spasi me, o Bože moj! Ti udaraš po obrazu sve neprijatelje moje, opakima zube razbijaš.
	9 U Jahve je spasenje: na tvom narodu tvoj je blagoslov!
