1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,	1 Bildad de Chouah prit alors la parole:
2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.	2 Il a de quoi s’imposer et faire trembler, il fait régner la paix au plus haut des cieux!
3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?	3 Qui pourrait compter ses armées, sur qui sa lumière ne se lève-t-elle pas?
4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?	4 Un humain sera-t-il juste devant Dieu? né de la femme, sera-t-il sans reproche?
5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.	5 Même la lune est pour lui sans éclat, et les étoiles lui paraissent bien pâles,
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?	6 que dire alors des humains, cette vermine, du fils d’un homme, ce ver de terre!
