Du maître de chant. Sur les instruments à cordes. Sur l'octacorde. Psaume de David. | 1 [For the choirmaster For strings For the octachord Psalm Of David] Yahweh, let your rebuke to me notbe in anger, your punishment not in the heat of wrath. |
Yahvé, ne me châtie point dans ta colère, ne me reprends point dans ta fureur. | 2 Have pity on me, Yahweh, for I am fading away. Heal me, Yahweh, my bones are shaken, |
Pitié pour moi, Yahvé, je suis à bout de force, guéris-moi, Yahvé, mes os sont bouleversés, | 3 my spirit is shaken to its very depths. But you, Yahweh . . . how long? |
mon âme est toute bouleversée. Mais toi, Yahvé, jusques à quand? | 4 Yahweh, relent and save my life rescue me because of your faithful love, |
Reviens, Yahvé, délivre mon âme, sauve-moi, en raison de ton amour. | 5 for in death there is no remembrance of you; who could sing your praises in Sheol? |
Car, dans la mort, nul souvenir de toi: dans le shéol, qui te louerait? | 6 I am worn out with groaning, every night I drench my pil ow and soak my bed with tears. |
Je me suis épuisé en gémissements, chaque nuit, je baigne ma couche; de mes larmes j'arrose monlit, | 7 My eyes waste away with vexation. Arrogance from al my foes! |
mon oeil est rongé de pleurs. Insolence chez tous mes oppresseurs; | 8 Away from me, al evil-doers! For Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping, |
loin de moi, tous les malfaisants! Car Yahvé entend la voix de mes sanglots; | 9 Yahweh has heard my pleading. Yahweh wil accept my prayer. |
Yahvé entend ma supplication, Yahvé accueillera ma prière. | 10 Let al my enemies be put to confusion, shaken to their depths, let them retreat in sudden confusion. |
Tous mes ennemis, confondus, bouleversés, qu'ils reculent, soudain confondus! |
