1 And the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan over against Jericho and the waters thereof, on the east: the wilderness which goeth up from Jericho to the mountain of Bethel:	1 A parte que tocou em sorte aos filhos de José foi desde o Jordão, defronte de Jericó, até às águas de Jericó, para o nascente; a seguir, rumo ao deserto que sobe de Jericó ao monte de Betei;
2 And goeth out from Bethel to Luza: and passeth the border of Archi, to Ataroth,	2 a fronteira (depois) vai do Betei a Luza, e passa ao longo dos confins de Arqui, para Atarot;
3 And goeth down westward, by the border of Jephleti, unto the borders of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gazer :and the countries of it are ended by the great sea:	3 (dali) desce pelo ocidente, ao longo dos confins de Jefleti, até aos confins de Bet-horon inferior e de Gazer, e termina no Mar Grande.
4 And Manasses and Ephraim the children of Joseph possessed it.	4 Foi isto que possuíram os filhos de José, Manassés e Efraim.
5 And the border of the children of Ephraim was according to their kindreds: and their possession towards the east was Ataroth-addar unto Beth-horon the upper.	5 A fronteira dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias, o limite da sua herança, para o nascente, foi Atarot-adar até Bet-horon superior.
6 And the confines go out unto the sea: but Machmethath looketh to the north, and it goeth round the borders eastward into Thanath-selo: and passeth along on the east side to Janoe.	6 Os seus confins estendem-se até ao mar, do lado de Macmetat, que olha para o norte, dão volta pelo oriente para Tanatselo, e passa desde o oriente até Janoe;
7 And it goeth down from Janoe into Ataroth and Naaratha: and it cometh to Jericho, and goeth out to the Jordan.	7 de Janoe desce até Atarot e Naarata, vai a Jericó e termina no Jordão.
8 From Taphua it passeth on towards the sea into the valley of reeds, and the goings out thereof are at the most salt sea. This is the possession of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.	8 De Tafa passa para a banda do mar até ao vale do Cana e termina no mar. Esta é a possessão da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias.
9 And there were cities with their villages separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the possession of the children of Manasses.	9 Foram separadas cidades com as suas aldeias para os filhos de Efraim no meio da possessão dos filhos de Manassés.
10 And the children of Ephraim slew not the Chanaanite, who dwelt in Gazer: and the Chanaanite dwelt in the midst of Ephraim until this day, paying tribute.	10 Os filhos de Efraim não exterminaram o Cananeu, que habitava em Gazer, e o Cananeu habitou até ao dia de hoje no meio de Efraim como tributário.
